This sale is for the pictured EICO HF 86 Power Amplifier. PLEASE MAKE AN OFFER, You know what this is… This amp with original EICO labeled MULLARD tubes is EXTREMELY hard to find. It is rated at 14 watts per side, and is a STEREO Tube Amp. ALLOriginal MULLARD TUBES, with the EICO label. It comes with the SAMS Photofacts with layout and schematics. And of course my stereo took the hit. I had it running thru an HF 85 pre-amp, and listened to the FM on an HF90 tuner. Almost stole the EL84s outta this for my guitar amp… But resisted the temptation. This amp was working about 10 years ago or so sounded fantastic too. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. This amp was stored INDOORS, was never exposed to high moisture environment like some others. VERY LITTLE CORROSION OR RUST… Because this is vintage electronics. And because it has not been powered or tested in over 10 years. Was working fine when I stopped using it, and the Mullards all were top shelf. DULCI DPA-10 Monoblock vintage valve amplifier. Essentially the same the famous Mullard 5-10 but with a few slight changes on the first Gain stage. Tested and fully working – sounds great. At some point the original valve rectifier has been replaced with a solid state rectifier, and a fuse and new capacitor have been installed. Also the power take off has been disconnected. For sale is a very nice custom Magnavox 9300 Series Tube Amplifier. Several modifications and upgrades including. RCA inputs in the rear. Covers on output supplies (they just rest on the chassis and are not mounted). Power switch on front. Speaker jacks in rear. Power light / Green colored jewel light. Sturdy wooden base with handles. Four (4) tubes across the back are nice Mullard tubes. No trouble powering a set of large Advents or similar type of period speaker. If you only have one source, you could plug it right in to the amplifier and avoid the use of a pre-amp. I tested with both a pre-amp and a reel to reel player direct and the sound was the same. Note, you’ll want something with a volume control as there’s no volume control on the amp. This was recently serviced and is fully operational. Just changed the light bulb with a new bayonet style bulb. Re-soldered the right input connector. Repainted the wooden base in gloss black and touched up the Berry-colored chassis. Closest color match would be Revlon Baby Berry (I used nail polish to touch up). Amplifier will be professionally packaged to ensure a safe arrival. It will stay attached to the board, but all of the tubes and covers will be removed and packaged separately to avoid any breakage.
