Non tested, but fuses are not blown. These Ampex tube amplifiers are well regarded for their build quality, particularly the Triad output transformers. These are a very clean all original pair, with only one non original output tube. The 12au7s and EF86 tubes are Amperex. The rest are GE with the exception of one Sylvania 6973. The cords are cut because they were crumbling when I removed them from the console, and they were basically bare wires. See preamp and tuner to be listed in the coming days. 1928 WESTERN ELECTRIC ERA 250 TRIODE OUTPUT AMPLIFIERS that uses two 281 rectifier tubes and the TWO 250 OUTPUT TUBES in push pull configuration. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EIGHT TUBES ARE NOT INCLUDED in this listing. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT BECAUSE OF IT’S AGE IT WILL NEED SOME RESTORATION. THE POWER CORDS SHOULD BE REPLACED OR AT LEAST TAPPED UP, and the power transformers are both tested good. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE TUBE SOCKET IS CRACKED BUT CAN BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. EASILY by the new owner , also note that the one amplifier has light surface rust that will need to be re-painted. The amplifier weight is about 60 LBS. I will pack well and you will get it in good condition with no damage.
