Vintage Tube Amp

For your consideration a vintage early’60′s model Scott tube amp. 12 3/4 front to back. Condition: in working condition ONLY insofar as all the tube showing illumination. The power light as well. Pics 9 and 10 show tube illumination. The wood show some moisture stains toward the back. Found with the grill not inserted, therefore top of chassis is dirty/dusty. All parts, switches, knobs and power cord look to be original. Thanks for looking and best of luck! Today’s listing is for.. Scott Model 222-B Stereo Amplifier. Works as it should! Priced to Sell Quickly , make your offer now! I took it to my Tube/Amp Guru, Doug McCalister, and he went through the entire unit. We needed to replace the 12AX7s so I bought a matched set of Tube Amp Doctor tubes. If you have the means and motivation, a set of original West German Telefunkens would make this lady sing even better than she does now! All other tubes and capacitors worked well! Very minimal work was necessary to get this lady singing again. Doug ran it for many hours to make sure everything was dialed in. Everything is balanced and sounds absolutely SUPER WARM and lovely! Replaced the original plastic feet with MUCH larger rubber feet, much better to protect the amp and whatever it is sitting on (see photos). This is the LOWEST PRICED H. Let me know if you want more photos. The setting sun had quite the ethereal effect on the photos. I will be checking my account episodically in the meantime. The item “H. H.
