Vintage PHILCO 6V6 Mono Tube Amplifier with Control Knobs (G1706). The amplifier has been tested in the console and is confirmed to be in working condition. The tubes were evaluated using a Hickok TV-7/U tester, see below. Cosmetically, the faceplate and knobs show minor wear consistent with age but remain in excellent overall condition. The chassis is clean and well-maintained. A Philco badge is included with the unit. Please refer to the photos for a closer look at its condition. Tube test results: 6V6 – tests at 84 min. 46; 6V6 – tests at 79 min. 46; 12AX7 – tests triode 1 and 2 at 24 / 26 min. The faceplate measures 12-3/8 x 3-5/8. The chassis measures 10-3/4 x 11 x 5.25. The included badge measures 6-3/4 long.

Controls: Volume, Treble, and Bass for each channel. Bright switch on Normal channel. Deep switch on Bass channel. Chrome-plated control panel with blue labels. Original black tolex covering with silver grille cloth. Raised chrome Fender logo on the grille. Whether you’re a collector or a player, this Bantam Bass amp is a great piece of Fender history. Original Fender Bassman black equipment cover is included, but is worn, torn on top left side, and a bit dirty, but still nicely protecting this amp.
