Both front-panel and rear-panel control knobs are in fantastic condition! All input and output jacks are as well. Tolex is free of rips or tears and is in terrific shape! Overall condition is excellent! The only thing missing is a rear panel, which was never made for this amp as you can tell since there are no screw holes on the back. WORKING CONDITION: Excellent- This amp works wonderfully, yielding all manner of bright cleans and ripping distortion with incredible sensitivity to playing dynamics. A pair of Heathkit AA-13 amlifiers. These have the typical peeling paint on the cases but front panels and data on chassies are in good condition. Have not powered these up for several years. This listing is for a very cool Vintage 1960′s Sano Guitar-Accordian Tube Amplifier. This is a very nice sounding amp and looks fantastic. The amp is all tube and 18 watts so it’s fairly loud and has a nice amount of clean headroom. The amp also has a killer sounding Tremolo. Original Iron, no back panel, serviced a couple years ago with one new tube and a 3-prong grounded power cord for safety. Only warmed up since to stay fresh. This is a wonderful example of an early American made Sunn Solarus Tube amp head. These amps were used by Jimi Hendrix, Leslie West and many others. This one is in fine shape, a real survivor! It looks to be original w/o any major modifications. Someone along the way has replaced one of the transformers and added an extra long three pronged A/C cord. (Very handy) Has the original spring reverb tank that works and sounds great. The mid boost switch appears not to work. There are four inputs (two Bright and two Normal) Has Volume, Treble, Bass, Contour… Rate & Depth (for tremolo) & Reverb knobs that work flawlessly and are not scratchy when adjusted. Has On/Off, Stand By & Polarity Switches. Works well with pedals! Has two speaker inputs. One 16ohms and one 8ohms. Has an input for tremolo & reverb on/off pedal, (pedal not included) The tolex is in very good shape. No rips or tears and the handle is safe and secure. It uses two EL34s for power tubes and is rated at 40 watts. As you can see in the pictures, the chassis has been dated September 8 1969 in red marker. The same date appears on a round sticker on the side of the chassis The Sunn Musical Equipment Company’s history is about as “American Dream” as it gets. After a Portland-based band (The Kingsmen) had a little hit song called “Louie, Louie” in 1963 and found their amplifiers couldn’t fill larger halls, they enlisted the help of a family member to build them louder amps and thus Sunn was born. You are looking at a Vintage 1980′s Seymour Duncan Convertible 100 Watt Tube Combo Amp. This amp has a very unique feature. It contains sound modules. (See pictures #10, #11, #12). This Amp has modules: (2) Classic Warm Tube, Hi Gain, Hi Gain Hybrid and 2 extra modules Presence and another Hi-Gain Hybrid. The Amp also has a wattage selector switch which controls the amount of power to the grid. It ranges from 5 Watts to 100 Watts. This a 100 watt, all tube combo with interchangeable pre amp tube module to shape and alter the tonality and power of the amplifier. It’s kind of a killer precursor to today’s modeling amplifiers, albeit, an all tube modeler. Other killer features include an effects loop, variable damping, reverb, pentode/triode mode and a built in attenuator system that takes the amp from 5 watts to 100 watts. Tonally, this one is pure beast! It has a big, mountainous tone! Smooth, round, fat clean tone. Massive, room filling power and projection. The gain and overdrive on this a very reminiscent of a vintage Mesa Boogie, very creamy and syrupy sounding!
