Vintage Tube Amp

Here we have a very, very rare and wanted Amp. I think this one is an early one maybe 1957? Not totally sure of the year. This 213 Model was made between 57 and 62. Its in very very nice conditon. Tolex is in nice shape with some spots that look like maybe they almost caught the cigarette in time, lol. NO rips in either grill cloth. This amp was just gone through professionally. Replaced three tubes and these items were done Full cap job, Special order rare cap, Undate filters, bias cap, node resistors, plate load resistors. Like I said one hundred percent and ready to go. This amp is sixty years old and a piece of working history. But due to it being vintage, still a final sale. Again working 100 percent, sounds great and I had my professional do EVERYTHING he felt it needed. I would love to keep it. But have to pass it on. I would put it up against anything in that era, and it is rarer as well! I will make every attempt at pointing everything out that I can. NO renegociation of price will occur after the sale. This tube amp was removed from a working Hammond model L organ. It uses a 5U4 rectifier tube, 2 6BQ5′s in the output, 2 12AX7′s and a 12BH7 in the preamp. The reverb tank as well as all tubes shown are included with the amplifier. These make for great restoration of a vintage organ OR can be turned into screaming little guitar amps like Dr Z originally did using hammond tube amps. Again, this amp was working when I removed it, however It will need a power cord and most likely the electrolytic caps replaced as they are over 50 years old in there. Fisher 400 Wide-Band FM Multiplex Receiver. I still love the tube sound though. This stereo looks and sounds great. AUX and Tape sound fantastic through the iPhone and Android. Phono tested fine with my son’s Crossley (all I had). FM Tuning Stereo Beam works well as does reception but the only strong signal I could get was talk radio. Radio had some distortion but I could not tell if it was due to reception or not. It could be my cheap flat wire antenna as well but never really needed radio. The radio dial is off so when tuned into 105.9 it reads 105.0 (see photo with Stereo Beam). My modest research suggests these issues are not uncommon and can be addressed. Loudness switch button broke but the functionality still works. It was a was a clean break. I have the piece (see photo) that fits perfectly like a puzzle piece. Will easily glue on when faceplate is removed but have left that up to you. All knobs are complete. Headphone jack was tested and works. I have priced this accordingly as I will restore myself before giving it away. This really is a nice unit and is a perfect candidate for a total restoration. Up for sale here is this neat little vintage Knight KM15 tube amplifier, complete with tubes. This is used with moderate wear and some rust on the transformers, but it’s not too bad. There are four brackets screwed to the corners by a previous owner–I have no idea why. I brought this up on a Variac (not included) and it works great and plays well, with no hums or buzzes. This is a neat little mono (one-channel) amplifier, and you could enjoy it as-is or modify it to be an awesome guitar amp. When I got this, it was missing the knobs and tubes, so I replaced the knobs with some nice repro knobs and tubed it up. The tubes are two 12AX7 (vintage Made in USA 1956 CBS 12AX7s), two EL84/6BQ5 (Russian equivalents), and one 6V4 rectifier (NOS Tesla equivalent, I think Hungarian). The tubes all work fine. I cleaned the controls, so they work smoothly as well. This has three controls–volume, bass, and treble. Volume is on the left, bass is in the middle, treble is on the right. The pot for treble has less travel than the others, for whatever reason. Underneath the wiring is nice and clean, with a pair of. 022 uf 600v Sprague Black Beauty caps for that great vintage sound. The can cap is original as far as I know and runs nice and cool–no issues there. The back has a jack for an AC cord–not sure if this is a previous owner’s modification or what. This includes the bottom cover but does not have a top cage/cover, sorry. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. Up for sale here is this nice vintage mono tube amplifier. I believe this is an old organ amplifier–just look at that massive power transformer! The codes on the output transformer are A-5092-3 606-936, and the power transformer is marked P-6606 606940. Both transformers were made by Woodward-Schumacher in either 1959 or 1949, probably 1959. This is in pretty good shape, with moderate wear and some rust. It normally uses one 12AX7, two 6V6GT output tubes (the two front sockets) and one 5Y3GT rectifier (rear socket), but no tubes are included, sorry. This is a pretty cheap amp to tube up. This was partially rebuilt, with a few new parts, and it currently works, but I would suggest redoing the rest of the capacitors. For guitar amp use you will probably need to modify it with an additional gain stage or something like that. Please be aware that this is a MONO tube amplifier. It is not a stereo amp.
