Uses famous EL84/6BQ5 tubes to get 2x15W output per channel. Tubes are original, but good. Only one small mod – NTC[inrush current limiter] added. Working but “As Is’” condition. Amp works just as it should. Nice and warm Scott sound. Wood case is brand new as I made it myself for this amp. Fits perfect just as it should. Metal top is 14 gauge stainless steel mesh sheet so it is ridiculously strong, sturdy and overbuilt. Wood is 3/4 oak mdf with gunstock finish and two coats of poly satin to match the original period color. Amp comes with full complement of tubes. Russian 6p14p-ev subbed in for 7189 as equivalents. These are highly regarded tubes that will stand up to the higher current compared to el84s. Much of the lettering on the back of the amp is worn off. This amp could use a good cleaning and at some point will prob need cap work. It has always worked perfect for me so I never changed anything. The writing seen in the pics around the tube sockets is not etched into the metal, it is pencil and can be cleaned off. I got the amp this way and just never cleaned it off. Vintage EICO HG-55 Tube Preamp. Up for sale is a nice Fisher 510-ST integrated amp/preamp. This unit is in working condition and was tested by me. It runs and amplifies music. There is no drama like loud 60 cycle bad cap hum, smoking, shocks, heavy distortion, etc. The inputs and controls work. I made video of this unit being tested and I will post it soon. It looks like most of the tubes are original. The pre amp tubes are microphonic. The other tubes have not been tested although the 6AB4 is an NOS replacement. I did a basic servicing of this unit by cleaning the tube sockets and the pots along with looking for detached wires and broken bits, etc. This amp was in a neighbor’s home for 50 years. 100% working Heathkit AA-151 tube amplifier in amazing condition. The amp has been tested to turn on and output sound, was tested on a set of bookshelf speakers at 4ohm. The unit is very clean with minimal defects as shown in pictures. Defects are as follows, slight bend in the chrome face trim on the source side, power cord has been replaced, aux power outlets are slightly cracked, and the smaller silver capicator? Base has broken on one side. Defects have no affect on playability of the unit, has a very good sound. Luxman MQ60 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ60 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1969, this is a true classic tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input on both L & R channels, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for a few hours and seem to sound fine. Maybe a slight scratch noise on the volume knobs (only audible when controlling), which could do with some adjustment/servicing if required. I also noticed the LED light on power switch seem to be not lighting up, but does not affect its function. Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there, with some light scuffing on the corners and a bit of rust on the metal parts as pictured but nothing too major. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Please refer to my pictures for any details. NOTE: This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. Luxman MQ80 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ80 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1974, this is a true classic CSPP tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for few hours and seem to sound fine, no noticeable noise or bad contacts on the knobs and connectors. This one has USB fan attached on the rear of the metal cage as pictured. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear marks and minor scuffs here and there, but nothing major. The metal caging is in nice condition too.
