Pioneer SM-83 Tube Amplifier. It is missing one knob. We plugged it in and power light comes on and after about a minute the tubes light up but seem to be faint. No further testing was done. We acquired the estate of a collector of vintage stereo equipment. Fender Super Champ XD Vintage Modified Tweed Tube Amplifier – 12 Speaker. In immaculate condition, this Fender Super Champ XD is part of the Vintage Modified series. Fender proves that everything old is new again. Merging a great 15-watt Class AB tube amp with modern touches such as DSP and Amplifier Voicing Control with 16 different amp voicings that offer up everything from metal to jazz tones. The Super Champ XD features an array of effects to inspire forays into new sonic territory. With the popularity surrounding low-wattage tube amps and their use as recording amps in recent years, the Super Champ XD is right at home in a studio situation! This amplifier was used in my smoke-free home studio only never used for gigs, although I could have. As with most Fender amps this amp takes to pedals very well. I upgraded the power tubes to a set of JJ 6V6 S power tubes and the preamp tube to a 12AX7 Mullard tube. The amplifier is housed in a custom built oversized tweed pine cabinet which houses a Fender Blues Jr. With these tubes and the larger cab this amp is another level up from an already versatile stock Super Champ XD. You wont see a lot of these like this for sale, a really versatile amp with Fender tone. I have removed the tubes and wrapped them in bubble wrap and put them into a separate box.
