Luxman MQ68 CUSTOM Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ68 Custom Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1978, this is a true classic tube amplifier. As being tested with my audio, the output from Right side channel seems to have crackling noise on it, and appears to have slight constant noise on the Right even when the volume is down to zero. The two tubes on the right is marked “OK” and “NO” as pictured, and when I switch the two tubes on the right with the tubes on the left, the noise on the output changes to Left side. So I guess the tube(s) needs replacing, but I’m not a technician at these and I have not done any professional testings so I’m not sure if there is any further issues or not. Apart from the noise on the Right output, Left side output seems to sound fine and the volume knobs appear to be working fine with no noticeable scratch noise. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there with but nothing major. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Please refer to my pictures for any details. NOTE: This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V – 220V regions. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Thanks for checking our listing.
