This Ampex “Fine Line” model 1250 reel-to-reel tape recorder still works and sounds great. It measures 15 inches by 13 inches by 6 inches, and original power cord and Ampex take-up reel are included. Exterior has been meticulously cleaned and is in good cosmetic shape, but does show some minor rust on the side edges of the steel faceplate. Record quality was very good, and all inputs and outputs have been tested and work without humming or noise. Tubes have not been individually tested, no repairs, modifications or upgrades have been performed. See detailed photos for interior shots and to grade cosmetic condition. This has a couple of switches on it that have been modified to make it more useful for guitar. The “ground” switch is not a switch the bypasses the tone stack in channel one, channel two remain unaffected. The rotary knob next to channel one input bypasses the last gain stage to give the amp more clean, and less gain, this effects both channels. So this amp can be used as it was originally and with the mods, which makes the amp very versatile, it has an 8ohm speaker out jack, and the power chord has been updated to a 3 prong. Vintage Silvertone Original Twin Twelve Guitar Amplifier #1484 from the 1960s. Original Jensen speakers with a speaker jack on the back of the cab which was an upgrade so the heard is not hardwired to the cab. Tubes have been replaced with Sovtek and Electro Harmonics tubes. Sounds great, has some wear but nothing major to discuss. Some scratches on cover. Packing: we are going to use a professional service to pack your item. It will be triple bubbled and double boxed with a ton of cushioning. The unit sounds terrific. We had it professionally tested and everything is working as it should be meaning meters, lamps. The speaker terminal strip has no broken tabs. Some small face scuffing on side edge due to being rack mounted but no other damage than that. This is a vintage Airline 62-9025A guitar amp that was builtby the famous Valco amp company around 1965. This amp has two”regular” and one “bright” inputs. Built-in Tremeloand Spring Reverb are accessible on all inputs. The amp comes with all original RCA power, rectifier and premap tubes. Additionally, it comes with the completely original 10 Jensen speaker, original Spring Reverb tank, and the original footswitch. The only thingmissing from this amp is the handle, which was removed at some point. The only modification made that I’m aware of is the addition of a modern, three-prongpower cord. This is an absolutely necessary safety step, particularly ifyou are plugged into a modern sound system, where there are different powersources. The original owner bought it in 1965from Montgomery Ward department store for their then-teenage son. Judgingby the condition of the speaker and tubes, it doesn’t appear that the amp wasused very often by the original owner. The sound: absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly nails that mid-60′sBeatles chime or that “Born on the Bayou” growl when turned up andthe tremelo is engaged. The reverb can be subtle and airy to almostspacey sounding when turned up. The amp is a very Fender blackface soundto me, but the reverb and tremelo are more unique, raw and definitely 60′ssounding. I understand that Jimmy Page used a very similar ampduring the first Zeppelin records, because they have such a great naturaldistortion when turned up. You would be amazed at how full and loud thisamp can get with only one 10 speaker and one power tube. Find me a better sounding, vintage ampthat was made in America at even remotely this price. Up for sale, a 1968 Sunn 2000s vintage tube bass amplifier head paired with a Sunn 2×15 speaker cabinet in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The brainchild of Norm Sundholm, bass player for the Kingsmen, and his brother Conrad, the Sunn company was birthed out of the need for gear that reproduced powerful, rich clean tones that could compete on the world’s largest stages (not the least of which was Woodstock, where Sunn supplied the backline). The Sunn 2000S led that charge in the bass world, and the hi-fi clarity and sweet warmth of this all tube bass head is oft-copied but rarely replicated. With absolutely massive transformers and a dual rectified four 6550 powered circuit, this 2000S head powers a vintage Sunn 2×15 speaker cabinet with a pair of Gauss drivers. These highly efficient and powerful speakers do a great job of amplifying that signature Sunn sound, and the thick, clear low end reproduced by these speakers is a known quantity in the bass world. The list of Sunn bass amp users is prolific and includes Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, and Noel Redding. This 2000s head has been recently serviced, with a complete and professional recap of the power supply, as well as a modern three-prong power cable. The power tubes are a fresh quad of Tung Sol 6550s which been properly biased for optimal headroom and life. The rest of the tube compliment consists of a pair of NOS 5V4 rectifiers and dual triodes from the likes of Amperex and General Electric. The original CTS pots and pair of chokes have date codes from early 1968, and both transformers are made by Dynaco. While the output transformer is the more conventional Dynaco style seen in Sunn amps, the power transformer is an arguably earlier example that could very well be original as well, although the cosmetic differences between the two transformers are notable. Regardless, the 2000s is designed to be powered by Dynaco iron, and these transformers sound incredible. The speaker cab was produced a few years later than the head, with a slightly different style of original grillcloth, although it pairs very well with the head and features the same rough, dark gray tolex. This is the later iteration of the 200s cab, with the larger side port and front mounted speakers. Both the head and cabinet retain their original hardware including handles, corners, and casters. Cosmetically, both head and cabinet have been thoroughly cleaned, with only light scuffs and nicks on the two enclosures, and moderate aging of the grillcloth. The original metal Sunn logos are both present as well. This stack is massive, classic, and ready to head back out on the road or find a home in the studio! Here’s another amazing item from my collection. Hate to sell but I don’t play much any longer. I’ve had this for over 30 years and it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Authentic vintage Fender Vibro Champ Tube amplifier. It appears to be all original (I’ve never done anything to it the entire time I’ve had it), but it does have a groove tube and an RCA. It’s always played well and all functions work great. Vibrato works well, all knobs function fine with no cracks. It does have a pretty loud buzz though so it may need something replaced. Still plays loud as hell but buzz is annoying. Super clean with no rips or tears at all. Tolex is super clean with a few tiny snags. Both jacks work fine. Missing top rear cross cover piece. No idea if speaker is original but again, I’ve never done anything in over 30 years. Please ask questions and I can respond as best as I can. Or let me know if I got the date wrong.
