A rare vintage Heathkit AA-30 tube amplifier in excellent cosmetic and operating condition. The face and cover of this Heathkit tube amp are outstanding, this tube amp has seen little running time – see the pictures! Works very well, powerful sweet tube sound. All functions and controls and tubes have been tested. Fully serviced – all switches and controls have been cleaned. Chassis and faceplate is in great condition. Tubes all test well, all tubes are vintage, complement includes. 4 of vintage 6BQ5/EL84 marked’Made for Daystrom Ltd 339 W’, test at 108, 102, 105 and 120 on my DynaJet 747 tester (note that Daystrom owned Heathkit). 1 of vintage GZ34 marked’GZ34 Mullard Made in Great Britain’, tests at 108. 2 of vintage yellow-label Philips 7199 marked’7199 USA ECG LR AHV’; a rare, great sounding and desirable matched set, both test at over 120. Original power cord in great condition. A lightweight dustcover is included. This highly collectible, beautiful AA-30 is the best HK tube amp I have seen in my 40 years of collecting. The fine item you are considering is a Vintage Alamo 2×10 Combo Tube Guitar Amplifier Amp. This cool vintage Alamo tube amp sports a pair of 6V6s for power tubes, and two original 10 speakers. The amp is basically working but it has some issues, these being that while the normal channel works perfectly and sounds fantastic at higher volumes (great break up and very spanky) the Vibrato channel looks to have what I think is a bad pot, which is very crackly (loud crackles when turned) and isnt allowing the volume to be as loud as it should be. Also, it doesnt appear that the vibrato effect is functioning. One of the paper cones on one speaker is torn, but I cant hear it effecting the sound, and otherwise the amp shows typical wear from age and use, but makes a great vintage appearance. The amp measures 23 long and has a nice chrome front plate. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item. Up for sale here is this vintage Magnavox AMP-150-AA tube amplifier. This is a mono two-channel amplifier–it has one channel for the lows and one channel for the highs. This is not a regular stereo amplifier, and will not work like one. It is in extremely nice condition, with just light wear, and has been fully restored, with new capacitors and many new resistors. This is tested and works well. All tubes are included and are good. This has only one 5U4GB with it–there is another socket for one, but I don’t think that’s necessary. Tubes are mostly vintage USA but I believe two of the 6V6 output tubes are Russian. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. Some original tubes – (maybe an expert can weigh in on this). Volume pot scratchy when turned in some positions – can be fixed with cleaning. Original two prong power supply. Looks and sounds amazing – Rare to find these in such good. Dates to December of 1964. This amp sounds unreal and fills the room with the most pure clean tone Ive heard. Up for sale, a 1960 Fender Vibrolux in excellent condition and in good working order, well maintained and complete with the original Victoria Luggage cover! This amp is from the most desirable run of Fender tweed amps from the late 50s, with the “narrow panel” cabinet design and a tone that is quintessential vintage Fender. The circuit is completely original save for a recap with high quality electrolytic caps, featuring Sprauge Atoms in the power supply to keep the amp operating within original factory spec. With a complete vintage tube set (including matched Sylvania 6V6 power tubes), this amp delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays surprisingly clean with just the right amount of overdrive and very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen 10 speaker. The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it, with a smooth waveform that has a good amount of intensity and chop on tap. Aside from the aforementioned recap and one new CTS pot, the circuit is completely stock with original Triad transformers and the coveted yellow Astron tone caps still present. The clean tube chart has a “JB” stamp which dates to February of’60. The chassis is quite clean, with moderate patina on the chrome control plate. The majority of the original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with a new leather handle that matches the style of the original. The stock gray two-prong power cord is still on the amp as well. The original alnico Jensen P10R 10 speaker is intact with a very clean green/blue frame, original bell cover, and clean Jensen label. The date code on the edge of the speaker frame translates to the 36th week of 1959. The original lacquered tweed is intact, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and wear, primarily on the lower left corner of the enclosure and bottom of the amp. The original Oxblood grillcloth is clean and tight, with no snags or rips. This is a wonderful amp from one of Fender’s most famed eras, and both a perfect piece for a collector or a reliable gigging and studio machine!
