For sale is a working Vintage Fisher 400 Receiver Tube Amp with a wood cabinet. I bought this 2 years ago and it has been a great receiver for listening to my vinyl, CDs and digital audio as well. I used it with my Rega RP1 turntable and Klipsch Forte speakers and they sounded great together. There is one little dent in it on the upper top right corner as you can see in one of the pictures. For your consideration, a vintage Peavey Heritage VTX 212 Electric Guitar Amp Head. This amp head works and sounds great but needs a new cabinet or combo unit. The pots are scratchy and need Deoxit cleaning. Power tubes are NOT included but 4 – 6L6 power tubes really rock this amp. Does have high and low power modes like the Musicman of the same era. For Sale is my classic Vintage Tube Amp – Ampeg VT-60 : Made in U. By SLM Electronics, St. ” Considered by many to be a “Poor Man’s Mesa Boogie; due to it’s single 12-inch design and 3-Channel amplifier. Green Channel (Channel-C) covers Fender-like cleans with lush Reverb, Red Channel (Channel-A) kills Santana-esque’ creamy Overdrive and Gain (sustains forever); Yellow (middle) Channel (Channel-B) is my favorite for dialing in the perfect blend of each. (Don’t have the Footswitch), but switches easily on the front-panel with Push/Pull-Pots. Original Ampeg speaker is lush and thick sounding… Cosmetically VERY CLEAN from my pet and smoke-free home, not “perfect”, but darn close considering age – (made in late-80′s/early-90′s). Gotta’ love the “Drip-Edge” front baffle. LOL – I’ve owned this beauty about 10-years; only used for occasional “Practice” at low levels in my small bedroom. Haven’t used her at all in the last few years, (it’s way more amp than I need). Sounded fine the last time I used it – but upon testing today it has some “scratchiness” and seems to be down on power in the Green (and Yellow) Channels. (Red Channel seems to be pumping normally, but has the scratchiness mentioned). Had similar symptoms about six years ago – and was completely gone over and given a clean bill-of-health by legendary Amp Guru’ Dennis Kager at Central Jersey Music Service (I have the receipt). So, she likely needs the Pots cleaned and may need a Pre-Amp tube or two (price reflects the needed service). This amp sounds amazing – silky-smooth cleans; ultra milky, creamy grind – (and/or screaming sustain), lush Reverb; amazing “sag” and “Presence” response – (has Presence Control w/ Hi/Lo Damping switch on back-panel). Up for sale, a 1963 Orpheum vintage USA-made tube amplifier in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Produced by Valco (the Chicago-based company responsible for Supro, National and others), this Orpheum is a miniature vintage wonder that delivers the kind of midrange thickness and grit that’s unique to Valco’s vintage preamps and original point-to-point circuits. Powered by a single 6V6 power tube pushing an oval shaped alnico speaker, this amp is perfectly suited for the recording studio, and sounds positively huge with a mic in front of it. The circuit couldn’t be simpler, with Volume and Tone controls, as well as two 1/4″ inputs, independently voiced for “Standard” or “Treble. The additional tremolo control both engages the effect and controls its speed. Aside from a couple new capacitors as necessary, the circuit is completely original. The pots are original, and both original transformers are intact, made by Triwec and dating to 1963. The original textured black ostrich covering is intact on the amp and in fantastic shape, along with the stock gold sparkle grillcloth and fragile plastic “Orpheum” badge on the amp’s face. The chrome faceplate retains the original knobs and has plenty of shine to the chrome plating, retaining virtually all of the original black silkscreened text. The original small serial number badge is intact on the back of the amp beneath the back panel, and aside from some light wear around the corners of the enclosure, this Orpheum is quite clean and would look great in a studio!
