Mittlerweile haben sich zuviele geräte angesammelt und ich muß mich von einigen trennen , da nachwuchs unterwegs ist und das musik zimmer dem kinderzimmer weichen muß. Deshalb kommen diese extrem seltenen Sansui Röhrenvorverstärker zum verkauf. Der Sansui P330 ist ein Mono Röhrenvorverstärker mit einem mittelwellen radio ohne eigene stromversorgung , die über die endstufen eingespeist wird. Das mw radio wurde demontiert (drehko) und es wurde ein Trafo eingebaut. Nun kann man die vorverstärker auch für jede andere endstufe nutzen. Sie sind nun auf 220 volt eingestellt können aber auch auf 110volt umgestellt werden. Das magische auge , wurde durch eine rote glimmlampe ersetzt. Eine cinchbuchse für ein tuner eingang wurde an der rückseite angebracht. Wenn man nun den wählschalter auf tuner stellt wo vorher das mw radio anging , wird nun die cinchbuchse aktiviert wo man einen tuner anschließen kann. Der MW-TUNNIG Knopf wurde zu einem dimmer umfunktioniert für die skalenbeleuchtung. Die plexiskala wurde ausgetauscht gegen eine neutrale mit sansui high fidelity beschriftung. Die vorverstärker haben eine ganz besondere klangregelung mit einer stufenlos einstellbaren loudness. Auch die schaltung ist anders als bei den meisten röhrenvorverstärkern. Das letzte foto zeigt den Vorverstärker vor dem umbau. Bis ich die 2 geräte endlich zusammen hatte sind einige jahre vergangen , da sie fast nie im angebot sind , und wenn dann einzeln. Hier haben sie die gelegenheit , 2 komplett restaurierte ganz feine frühe Sansui mono Röhrenvorverstärker zu bekommen , die technisch vom feinsten restauriert sind. Huge Ampeg tube head in good vintage shape. Needs nothing, ready to rock. A Les Paul with humbuckers sounds monstrous through this Ampeg! You can really dial in some punishing and gritty 1971-type tone. Run it into a 4×12 if you have one. Some people use V4s for bass guitar too, although I feel it is perfectly voiced for 6-string guitar. All EQ knobs and switches work as designed. Most components visible have 1974 date codes. The newest I see is the Northlake output transformer, dating to the 6th week of 1975. Caveats: The back panel is gone. The standby light doesnt seem to illuminate at all. The red power lights shows only the faintest of glimmers. Of course both switches function as intended. Master volume control added (black knob). I believe this is a simple conversion, and thus, simply reverse. The original printed schematic (Revision “F” I believe) is still intact on the top of the inner chassis, though somewhat torn and grimy. Interestingly theres a Bugera 12AX7 tube in the 6CG7 slot. It was there when I acquired the amp. I dont know if this has any bearing on the V-4s sound, but I left it (and all tubes) unmolested. A nearly new, matched quad of JJ 7027A sits in the output section. Other miniature tubes are a mix of Bugera, Electro-Harmonix, and JJ. I’m of the mind to leave a good thing untouched – this is the type of amplifier tone guitarists spend years searching for. This head weighs well over 50 pounds and measures about 11 x 26.5 x 10. This is a pair of vintage custom mono tube amplifiers from the 50s. I found each one about 5 years apart from different sources, but the chassis are virtually identical with slight differences in components. Both have Acrosound transformers. One a TO-300, the other a TO-305 which I believe is the same but has an additional 500 ohm out winding. They feature 7N7 front end tubes which are known in the DIY community to be wonderful tubes, basically 6SN7s with a Loctal base. Output tubes are each a matched pair of Gold Lion KT66s. These are plug and play. They have been serviced with essential required components replaced. I have had them playing in my system occasionally for the last year or so and are incredible sounding amplifiers. They will blow away anything you have with a similar topology – in and beyond a pretty modest price range. Put them up against your friend’s fancy boutique ridiculousness high dollar amps and watch their jaws drop. I hope to pass these on to someone who really likes listening to great sounding tube amps and doesnt really want to bother with the rest. Replaced all electrolytic capacitors (main power supply and bias supply). Replaced all coupling/bypass caps with Cornell Dublier film caps. Replaced output tubes with used old stock westinghouse 7591′s (tested 90%). Set bias and offset as per pilot settings. Tested all other tubes. Cleaned all tube sockets amd deox’d all controls and switches. Light marks on faceplate are from reflections and are not scratches. The amplifier is sound wise, as well as visually and technically top. The amp was removed from the combo housing by the previous owner and installed in a self-made top section housing.
