Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a vintage 1982 Marshall JCM800 Model 1992 Super Bass MKII 100 watt tube amplifier head. This is an amazing sounding amp. It delivers a warm, punchy clean tone for a surprisingly loud range, the typical gritty drive you expect from a Marshall when cranked. This is an early 80′s model with the sought after vertical inputs. This amp is in perfect working order. The only issue of note is some scratchiness when adjusting the treble and volume pots. This is not an issue once you get your settings dialed in. The amp appears to be original with no circuit modifications. It has aftermarket Sovtek power tubes and Mesa preamp tubes. It is in used condition with cosmetic wear. The back plate/tube protection plate is missing, unfortunately. There are a few spots where the tolex has ripped, but nothing too major. Some of the plastic on the corners and the vent cover have chipped next to where it was riveted in. Overall, it is in good shape for its age. Sounds awesome, looks awesome (please see all pictures) and includes original footswitch. Just serviced with new electrolytic caps. Also has 12 speaker (these usually came with 10). All original packing must be included. Up for Sale is a. Vintage’70s Traynor YBA-1 Bass Master! 40 Watt All Tube Amp Head! This is Really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage’70s Traynor YBA-1 Bass Master 40 Watt All Tube Amp Head. Very similar to a Fender Bassman Blackface head. And just like a Bassman, the Bass Master is a much better guitar amp head than a bass head. The Bass Master has a very rich warm tube tone. Although originally designed as a bass head, the Traynor YBA-1 rapidly became the voice of guitar players looking for massive tone and drive from their amp throughout the 60s and 70s. The four separate inputs have been designed with varying input sensitivities allowing for radically different tones from each. By design, Channel One inputs deliver higher gain and drive than the darker and warmer Channel Two inputs. Each pair of inputs have their own highly responsive volume controls, and inputs can be stacked to allow both inputs to be blended simultaneously for that massive vintage drive tone. Four master tone controls (Treble, Bass, High and Low Range Expanders) make it easy to dial in the perfect sound. While’Treble’ and’Bass’ act as traditional tone controls, the Range Expanders function more as’Mid’ and’Presence’ Controls. Our Amp Tech serviced this amp. All pots, jacks and tube sockets were cleaned. A couple of caps were replaced. Replaced Fuse holder and fuse. You won’t have to spend any additional monies on this amp. Gig Ready on Arrival. Tolex is in very good shape. A few minor scratches and tears but still good condition. Traynor logo is missing. Instrument control bezel is very clean. All lettering is still legible. A piece of mahogany wood replaced the grill cloth. Overall, a really nice Amp. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story. Top 40 guitars is a Veteran owned business.
