This guitar and amp are very very nice. When got this from the original owners wife, it had a tall nut, the guitar was used for slide guitar, it has literally no fret ware. The original nut was included and is back on the guitar, It plays , sounds and looks excellent. Guitar and tube amp extends a true vintage electric guitar sound. This one is in exceptional condition displaying very little wear. This guitar was used most of its life as a slide guitar, which explains why there is little to no fret wear. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of such a RARE and desirable vintage Danelectro guitar and comes with its original chipboard case. I love this guitar, I really do. And have enjoyed playing it. Volume and tone controls are fully functional. Guitar plays really nice, Sounds great through the amp. Very beautiful vintage finish. This is a really, really nice guitar. Fret board has a great feel. Hard to believe it close to 60′s year old! Amp is very clean. I bought this pair from the estate of the original owner. To my knowledge they are both original. Stored since the 70s. This is a true vintage electric guitar, and amp not NEW. I can’t say the amplifier is new because it’s from the 1960′s but Like new, mint condition I can tell you. Controls need a little tuner cleaner but that’s it. This is a cool all tube amplifier somewhat rare as it was only produced in 1980 and 1981. People say it is on a deluxe platform with a few more bells and whistles but I can’t be sure. This is cool because it has a dirty Channel which is actually usable and the clean Channel. It has the great Fender clean tone and Reverb but then you can rock out the other channel. It also has Push Pull for the bass middle and treble controls to give you a boost and extra control over the sounds. Very versatile sounding lots of cool tones. This comes with a footswitch which is obviously not original since it says Marshall on it but it was spliced at the cables to get the weird set up that these come with for Reverb and channel switching control (Reverb is a stereo quarter inch and channel is an RCA) this just came back from my amplifier technician who gave it a clean bill of health. The 12 inch speaker is a newer Fender probably made by eminence.. This is some specifications I found on the web. For your consideration a vintage early’60′s model Scott tube amp. 12 3/4 front to back. Condition: in working condition ONLY insofar as all the tube showing illumination. The power light as well. Pics 9 and 10 show tube illumination. The wood show some moisture stains toward the back. Found with the grill not inserted, therefore top of chassis is dirty/dusty.
