Rare Vintage FAIRCHILD 275 Monoblock Tube Amplifier / Amp Untested As Is. This will likely need some kind of repair. I found it in a warehouse, in a crate with other electronic items. I never plugged it in, since I have read, and been told, that plugging in old tube based electronics could cause them harm unless, of course, you know how to do it properly, which I do not. I researched this item, and found out that it is very highly regarded amongst the audiophile community. And, also, rather rare. If I knew how to fix it myself, I would probably never sell it. One more thing my daughter has leukemia, so she has asked me to donate a portion to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Its only 10% of the sale price, but it might help a little. Vintage 1960′s Univox grey tweed guitar tube amp with matching tremolo pedal- one 12 inch Jensen special design speaker, 5 tubes. Volume, tone, tremolo speed with pedal, guitar & aux inputs, everything works. The cabinet looks good with standard wear, no tears in the grillcloth. The front wood has standard wear, wood chips and a little fraying of the cloth on the bottom. The univox name has long been missing but my expert vintage amp repair man identified it. Very cool working tube amp from the 60′s with a great vintage look. There is a nice demo of one on youtube under Univox test, it is a 26 second clip with also some specs. Pilot Model PT-1028 1958. Hi, Jimmy O here… Thanks for stopping by to see my latest restoration. Here’s a fabulous and rare 1958 Pilot High Fidelity console! What an amazing player; Pilot spared no expense in the quality and workmanship that went into every detail of this beautiful machine… It was a real pleasure to bring this player back to life, and it now looks, perhaps, even nicer than it did new! Check out the video below for a small sample of what this Pilot sounds like! This player is just so cool looking, with it’s striking vintage black and white cabinet, silver and black grill cloth, and gold tapered legs. The entire cabinet was recovered with vintage style coverings, the exact same kind used back in the day… See close ups of the wonderful quality and texture of the covering! Pilot has always been well known for their powerful and beautiful sounding tube amplifiers, and this model is equipped with their absolute best. Sporting three 12AX7 tubes, dual EL84 outputs, and a 6CA4 rectifier… All the tubes are original 1950′s Telefunken and Mullard, and all tested super strong!! The amplifier has all new capacitors and resistors, along with a new power cord and added fuse. See photo of the many components that were replaced in this amplifier! The automatic 4 speed Garrard record changer is also fantastic, with it’s awesome 50′s accents, control knobs, and beautiful original beige paint! The record changer, control panel and knobs are in such fine condition, it looks as though this console was hardly ever used! The tonearm has the famous GE VR2 cartridge, one of the best cartridges ever made. I installed a brand new stylus, so you can play both stereo or mono LP’s on this… It’s a dual stylus, so you can flip it over, and play 78 records too! This is an automatic changer, and also a manual changer, so you can stack records, and each one will play in turn, and the changer will shut off after the last record has played, or leave it in manual to control shutting it off yourself. Comes with a convenient Garrard 45 adapter, which allows you to stack and play multiple 45 records automatically! Sorry about the sideways video, I’m trying to figure out how to straighten it! This has a nice large three way speaker system… A 12 woofer, a mid range and a tweeter… I replaced both crossover capacitors with Dayton caps for a tighter response. Want to play records at night? This has a cool pilot light that gives a beautiful warm glow in the record changer area, and doubles as a front pilot light via the small red lens in the speaker grill cloth… A nice bonus feature are the external speaker outputs, and additional inputs you can choose from in the back of the console; Designated for Phono, an additional Tuner, or Tape! You can run a CD player, ipod or smartphone through the tape input, and listen to your music in full glorious High Fidelity! Up for sale, a 1974 Fender Pro Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Providing the general tonal character of a Twin Reverb, but boasting a tube rectifier and more manageable 40 watts of power, the Pro Reverb is a 2×12 amplifier with enough volume for large ensemble situations and the perfect balance between shimmering Fender cleans and smooth, touch sensitive overdrive. A great platform for effects pedals too, the cleans on this Pro are balanced, clear, and warm. Of course once you reach around 5 on the volume dial, things start to compress slightly, and you get that dynamic, glassy sound that adds just the right amount of grit to your tone. Very original and well maintained, this Pro Reverb is ready for stage and studio use! The circuit is very original and recently serviced, with the original power and output transformers which date to’74. The choke is original as well, while the reverb transformer is a modern factory-spec replacement. The stock CTS pots are all intact as well, dating to the 40th week of’74. The amp retains the majority of the original blue molded capacitors in the preamp, with a couple new Sprague Orange Drops to keep everything operating within original factory spec, and the amp boasts a complete recap of the main filter caps and smaller bypass caps, all with top notch components, along with a modern three-prong power cable. The speakers are the original pair, manufactured by Utah and featuring clean silver and orange labels on the ceramic magnets. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth is intact and in great shape, showing only light wear and still looking surprisingly clean after 45 years. The cloth has minimal aging, and the tolex shows only some light wear on the edges of the enclosure. The stock hardware is in great shape as well including original tilt back legs, chassis straps, corners and handle. This Pro Reverb is a very original and well maintained circuit, and sounds every bit as good as a vintage Fender should! Vintage 1978 Fender Champ Amp USA Silverface Valve Tube Amplifier. This is a beautiful 1978 Fender Champ amp, silver face and silver grille. These are really special amplifiers, and quite hard to find in Europe. This is completely original, including the original’Fender’ valves and transformers. You’ll not find a better internal example than this. There are a couple of small components changed on the circuitboard, but nothing much at all. There are some light scuffs throughout, as pictured.
