Up for sale, a 1967 Fender Bassman tube amplifier head in excellent condition and in good working order. Recently serviced and complete with fresh power tubes, this Bassman works exactly as intended with the AB165 circuit. Tonally, this amp delivers the rich and powerful tones associated with the Blackface sound, and the cleans are robust and detailed. Pushing the amp past around 5 on the Volume dial of either channel begins to coax shades of overdrive out of the circuit, with moderate compression and plenty of crunch and bite when you dime the amp out. Perfect for guitar or bass, this amp truly excels when delivering sweet, sparkling cleans. The circuit is very original with stock Schumacher transformers that both date to early’67. The power supply has been recapped with high quality F&Ts, and there are a couple new Sprague Orange Drop caps in the preamp as well as a new bias cap to ensure stable voltages to the power tubes. The preamp is otherwise nearly untouched and retains all but one of the original blue molded Ajax tone caps that are an essential part of the Blackface sound. The original CTS pots are also all accounted for, dating back to mid-1966. The power cable has also been upgraded to a modern three-prong variety. Present inside the head cab, the stock tube chart is present, with a “QF” date stamp which translates to June of 1967. Cosmetically, this amp is very clean clean, with original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth. Save for a new pair of Fender piggyback clip bars, all of the original hardware is present including the chassis straps, handle caps, and sphinx glides. The faceplate shows limited wear with bold silkscreened graphics and stock witch hat knobs. The back panel is a modern replacement that matches the otherwise original tolex on the head. This Bassman is very original, professionally serviced, and recently retubed with a matched pair of JJ 6L6s. This is a rare beautiful model of Philips Belgian daughter company MBLE tube stereo amplifier from the 60s. It has 10 tubes in it. You can find more info on internet. They are sought after for their great sound and cool look. The amp is working, but one channel is lower level. You will need to change the tubes probably. Vintage 1960′s Decca cabinet console hi-phonic phonograph record player. This is a beautiful light wood cabinet that is in nice condition considering it’s age. This features Decca phonograph dp-265, tube amp, two tweeters, and 12 speakers. Great find for someone who knows a little about how these operate and could figure out the problem it is having. There is also no sound coming out of the speakers as it should. When the player does spin you can hear it playing from the needle. More pictures available upon request. Up for sale, a 1960′s Impact 60 vintage tube amplifier head in excellent condition and in perfect working order. An exceedingly rare and visually stunning head tonally in the Hiwatt mold, the Impact 60 is a UK-made EL34-driven powerhouse with original massive Partridge transformers. Impact amps were originally produced by. Big, shimmering, commanding tones with a crisp British edge can easily be coaxed out of both channels, and the tube compliment of vintage matched RCA 6CA7 (EL34) power tubes and Mullard preamp tubes provides a rich, dynamic signal. The circuit is hand-wired on a tag board with the majority of original tone capacitors and metal film resistors intact. The amp has been recapped and serviced as necessary for optimal playability, and the original Partridge transformers are present, coveted for their top shelf construction and widely considered to be the best vintage British transformers ever produced. The amp has a modern three-prong power cable, and the speaker outputs on the back are switchable from 8 to 16 ohms. The cabinet and aesthetics of the Impact were certainly designed to do just that, and the unique angled face of the head and reverse angled grillcloth give the amp a bit of Space Age flair. The original black tolex has retains its white piping, and the turquoise faceplate retains the sextet of polished chrome knobs, similar, but not identical to the ones Vox used in the mid’60s.
