1961 Gibson GA-8 Discoverer combo guitar amplifier. This vintage amp is in perfect working condition with zero issues and it sounds glorious, extremely similar in sound to a Tweed Fender 5F1 Champ but louder due to its dual parallel 6V6 tubes. These amps are very sought after for its Tweed Champ tone but at more usable gigging volumes. It has been very well cared for its entire life. It is all original with the exception of the 3-prong ground power cord, three capacitors, and a 2009 Jensen C12Q speaker. The original burgundy wine tolex looks great with only a couple tears, largest of which is on the front right top corner. The top control plate has some wear but the majority of the lettering is visible as shown in the pictures. The handle works great.
