This unit is in great shape. I don’t know what it’s used for and information about it would be appreciated. Tubes light up when plugged in. It’s a bout 10″ across, less than 9″ deep and tall. This listing is for a Vintage 1978 Traynor YBA-1 Bass Master Guitar Amp with Matsushita Mullard Tubes! The two 6CA7/EL34s are Westinghouse branded, marked Japan with an O getter and have a seam on the top (very faint on one) indicating that they are Matsushita Mullards. The three 12AX7s are GE branded, marked Japan with an O getter and have a seam on the top indicating that they are also Matsushita Mullards. The serial number (8010404) indicates that it was manufactured in January 1978. Prior to listing it was tested using a cabinet and Squier Strat that we keep for testing. It played beautifully, with a huge sound and very little hum – more of a quiet hiss, really. In fair cosmetic condition, for its age and would benefit from a deep cleaning. The power transformer is mounted at a slight angle – we’re not sure why. This is the only one on the market with a premium tube set – don’t let it get away! Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution. Vintage 1960/61 Supro 1620T. Amplifier is in great shape and has been serviced only by Michael Clark of Clark Amplification. He also updated the power cord to a three way high quality cord. The badge is a reproduction. Preamp tubes are Phillips USA vintage tubes. Tremendous tremolo, but missing the footswitch unfortunately. Original speaker still is strong and has that classic tone. Has the classic Zeppelin 1 and 2 tones with a boost on the front end. Also to note that this very amp was used by Marcus King on almost every single track of the self titled Marcus King Band Album. It was used in conjunction with a Super Reverb and vintage Marshall to blend varied amounts of each depending on the track. This was Warren Haynes idea to do this with this amp and it worked great. The track Devils Land on the album really showcases this particular amps tone. Up for sale here is this nice vintage Knight PP 6V6 mono tube amplifier. This is circa 1956 and is Made in USA. It is in decent shape but has some wear and some rust/corrosion, mostly at the back. This does not have a top or bottom cover, sorry. It also does not come with tubes, but they’ll be easy to find. One can capacitor is a bit loose, but you can epoxy it down or replace the mount pretty easily. I have not powered this up or tested it in any way. This will need the usual recap/rebuild. Please be aware that this is a MONO tube amplifier. It is not a stereo amp. This will make an amazing guitar or harp amp. Lease see my pictures for details. This will arrive safely. Presenting a pair legrndary of rare 1950s H. SCOTT 240 MonoTube Power Amplifiers. Cosmetics are excellent as yiu can see. They were both slowly variaced up. On one amp with all original silver cans. > the far left Silver can was getting hot so we shut that one down. Its gonna need the tall 40uf/40uf 300v can. The other amp had that can samev40/40 cap replaced at some point years ago with 4 outboard caps. This amp passed a nice clean signal with a CD player. After about 20 minutes the 4 cap bundle started getting hot so we shut it down. So the same 40uf /40uf 350v cap needs to be replaced. No chassis modification was done so if you want to install the original style can thats no problem. We are including 4 brand NOS Vintage set of Seimens Roher EL34s thet are labeled tested and inspected. We tested them anyway on our Hickock and they test excellent. There are also 4 top quality Telefunken 12AX7s on board. Two in each amp. The (2) Sylvania 5U4 rectifier tubes tested excellent. Definately the coolest looking pair of H. SCOTT Mono Amplifiers ever produced. Well engineered with the Branded signature cast Aluminium side panels. They should both be gone over by a qualified tech to be sure they are up to facrory specs. This sale is for a vintage HH Scott Type 299-A Stereomaster Integrated Amplifier. Unit tested with 8ohm Wharfedale W25 speakers on TAPE channel, and. Channel A was out. Hum in background on Channel B at low volume. All tubes appear to light up. Excellent cosmetic condition inside and out. See photos for closeups. Product specs & description. 40 watt amplifier; 17wpc. Scott’s first “Stereomaster” Integrated Amp. “Christmas Tree” tri-function neon indicators, unique to 299-series. Bias control common to both channels. (2) 6BL8 (floating paraphase inverter w/AC balance pots). The Scott 299A was the first stereo integrated amplifier. It was introduced in September 1959. Its’ touted features included provisions for connecting stereo cartridges and tape heads, D. Filament supply, and a third channel output. The front panel sported rumble and scratch filters, contour switch, phase reverse switch, separate dual concentric treble and bass controls, an input switch with provisions for not only RIAA curves, but also European 78s, and Ortho curves. Inputs were also supplied for a tape amp, NARTB tape head, and tuner. The stereo selector has provisions for mono, reverse stereo, channels A and B alone, and something called Bal A and Bal B for checking levels on each side. This last feature is especially handy when troubleshooting for uneven output levels. It is perhaps a bit excessive on an integrated amp, but with separates, you can find out instantly whether the output discrepancy occurs before or after the power amplifier. Up for sale, a 1975 Fender Twin Reverb, freshly serviced and in perfect working order. This Twin is freshly retubed with a matched quad of Tung Sol 6L6s and lives up to its reputation for having the most formidable, glassy, and balanced clean tones a tube amp can provide. These tones are further complimented by a pair of vintage Fender-branded and Pyle-manufactured heavy duty ceramic magnet 12 speakers, which have a smooth, punchy, and surprisingly articulate sound. Perfect not only for guitar, the Twin is an excellent choice for any scenario where headroom is a must, performing equally well with a pedal steel or your favorite Rhodes piano. The circuit is very original, with only a few new capacitors necessitated in the preamp to keep the amp operating to original factory specs. All of the original Schumacher transformers date between 1974 and mid-1975, and the power supply has been professionally recapped with a combination of Ruby and F&T caps. All of the original CTS pots are present as well, dating to’75. The chassis has a clean faceplate and full compliment of original knobs. Inside the cabinet, the original tube chart is intact, and the pair of Pyle-manufactured 12 speakers have clean blue foil Fender labels on the ceramic magnets, with clean black frames and viable cones. The smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with orange stripe is quite clean, as is all of the original hardware. The amp was at one time fitted with additional handles on the sides of then enclosure which have subsequently been removed.
