FANTASTIC VINTAGE MCINTOSH AMP MODEL MC60 MONO BLOCK TUBE AMPLIFIER – WORKS!! This is a super nice vintage McIntosh MC-60 Mono block tube Amp in original condition. I believe the resistors and capacitors are all original. Currently no service is needed as far as I can tell on this Amp. She is in good working condition. But remember this is a vintage item so keep an open mind to possible service and/or repairs. Down the road you might consider a restoration and tube upgrade. The paint on the transformers looks original, however one spot was touched up with black paint. Overall they look good showing just minor scuffs and scratches. Stickers and plaques look great. The chrome looks great as well with the normal minor pitting and surface rust you would expect to find on a vintage McIntosh Amp. The black lettering is in fantastic overall shape showing only minor wear and tear. The mixed tube line-up is… 1x 6550A & 1x 6550 marked USA. 2x 5U4G”B” (Not A) one is a Sylvania the other is marked USA. The center guide post pins are broken off on the 6550′s. This is a common occurrence and not a big deal. The tubes are marked with a black Sharpie dot. The overall Cosmetic condition is excellent showing only minor scratches/blemishes and normal wear consistent with age and use. Please look closely at the pictures as they are part of the description. Due to weight this is a NO return item. This Serial number on this little beauty is 2F471. The tubes pictured and listed are included. The attached A/C power cord is in great condition. This amps works as it should and was tested under basic conditions. There was no noise or hum at the time of testing. She will be extremely well packed. This is truly a very nice vintage Mcintosh tube Amp. Don’t miss this one!! PLEASE SEE PICS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. The item “FANTASTIC VINTAGE MCINTOSH AMP MODEL MC60 MONO BLOCK TUBE AMPLIFIER WORKS” is in sale since Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Vintage 1980 tube amp head by Marshall. Vintage and rare amp head with original cord, overall has knicks and scratches. Fires up and seems to work, but I’m not an expert. Amp seems to be in good condtiion. Missing the Marshall insignia on the front. A vintage 1980 Marshall JMP Master Volume Mark 2 Lead Model 2204 100-watt tube amp head. This classic amp needs little introduction. It and its big brother, the 100-watt 2203 defined the sound of 70s and 80s hard rock. With its thick, crunchy mid-range and gobs of sustain, this amp is sure to make your power chords come alive. Cosmetically, the amp has a few minor bruised, but it is in very good condition overall. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic. Power Output: 50 Watts. Controls: Presence, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master, Preamp. Dimensions: 29” x 11.5” x 8.5′. Missing front panel ” Marshal ” insignia. Please know that we are a local mom and pop style family pawnshop. Oldest Pawnshop in San Francisco, dating back to the late 1800s and at this location. Very nice cosmetic condition as seen in images. The back exterior tube cover’s (back rectangle with 2 screws seen in image 6) two screws are a little stripped out. Sounds great – See video. First time we turned it on. Does have a minor Humming when on in idol. Seems to go away when paying. Volume does seem loud for the knobs position. Knob did crackle with knob turn in the beginning, after that it did it a few times. Cleaned the exterior up after the video was shot. Im sure it could be. Operation, but it sounds pretty good! A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THIS RARE AND BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE TUBE AMPLIFIER IS PROVIDED AFTER THE PHOTOS. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THE DESCRIPTION. DETAILED INFORMATION INVOLVING THE AMPLIFIER. As the photos show, the amplifier has a very impressive and classic look to it and would make a wonderful addition to any vintage amplifier collection. Please check out all of the photos that I have provided. The amplifier including the power transformer, other transformers, chassis, etc. Does have some discolored areas/spots (including some whitish/hazy marks on the top and sides of the amplifier and some corrosion spots, especially on the flanges at the sides of the amplifier), scuffs, swirl marks, scratches, bends, scrapes, marks, stains, dings, dents, etc. On it from age, use, etc. Although many of these items are too small to be picked up by the camera. This amplifier may have been polished by its former owner but I dont know whether it was or not. However, please check out all of the many photos for a variety of different views of this amplifier. In my opinion, this amplifier looks really nice and very clean for its age, has an impressive-looking appearance, and is one of the best-looking ones that I have seen. Located on the amplifier is one control which is labelled HUM and another control which is labelled BAL. There is also a pair of jacks labelled 1 and 2, respectively, along with the word INPUT next to them. In addition, there is a large white socket which is labelled TUNER PWR. Furthermore there are two terminal strips on the top surface of the amplifier, with both of these strips having various “tabs” on them. One of these strips is labelled “SPEAKERS” and the other strip is labelled “PILOT LIGHT”. The tabs on both of these strips have some bends, residual solder, residual wire, etc. I know nothing about these jacks, terminal strips, controls, and socket, and I also do not know if they work, how they work, if they are correct, if they are functional, if they are original, if they are operational, if they are complete, etc. Regarding the tubes which are included with the amplifier (and came with it when I bought it), they are as follows (see the photos of the tubes): (A) 6BQ5 (EL84); (B) 6BQ5 (EL84); (C) 6BQ5 (EL84); (D) 6BQ5 (EL84); (E) 6EU7; (F) 6EU7; and (G) 5U4GB (a grand total of 7 tubes). All of these tubes have the MAGNAVOX name on them. Regarding all of the tubes listed above, I did not test them and I therefore do not know if they are good or not. Likewise, the graphics are smudged/missing/faint on one or more of the tubes. Since all of the tubes say MAGNAVOX on them, they may be original although I dont know for sure whether they are original or not. In addition, I did not check the tube sockets and I likewise cannot warrant or guarantee that they are good, original, complete, and operational. I also dont know if the tubes in the photos are in the correct sockets or not. Accordingly, I will again leave all of the issues with the tubes whether the tubes are good, whether the sockets are good, what sockets the tubes should be in, etc. The amplifier chassis also has a really nice-looking MAGNAVOX name-badge on the top surface of it as the photos show. I dont know how the badge is secured to the amplifier chassis it may be secured using glue, etc. But I dont really know. The badge really gives a nice look to the amplifier! In addition, to the best of my understanding and observation, there are no controls on this amplifier (other than those mentioned above) and no On/Off switch on the amplifier. Likewise, the amplifier does not come with any kind of a pilot light or indicator light. The amplifier also does not appear to have a fuse or fuse-holder to the best of my understanding and observation. I have provided an underside view of the amplifier chassis in one of the photos. I have no idea if the wiring in the amplifier is correct or good and I dont know anything about the power transformer, the output transformers, and any other transformers used by the amplifier, as well as the other electronic components capacitors, resistors, and other parts, etc. Associated with the amplifier. Specifically, I dont know whether or not these components (including but not limited to the output, power, and any other transformers) and all of the other components/parts associated with the amplifier are good, correct, original, functional, properly-wired, etc. And I also dont know whether or not there are any missing/incomplete components and parts. In addition, I dont know anything about the condition of the resistors, capacitors, wires, transformers, tubes, etc. And whether or not they are original, functional, correct for this amplifier, etc. Regarding the power cord/plug, I dont know if it is original or not, if it is good or not, if it is wired correctly or not, and if it is the correct and appropriate one for this amplifier. I will leave any changes, modifications, repairs, inspections, assessments, tests, replacement of any parts, upgrades, additions of any missing parts or other parts, subtractions of any parts, expansions, etc. In summary, this amplifier is, in my view, really nice-looking, very clean, and has a very distinctive retro appearance. Are original or not, and whether it is complete. The above-described amplifier may have been worked on, repaired, and/or modified by someone else in the past, but I dont know whether this is true or not. In this regard, I have done nothing to this amplifier and I have not inspected it internally or externally and I have not tested it in any manner. No other items are included. However, I do not know how much work, parts, wires, wiring work/replacement, repairs, rewiring, power transformer repair/replacement, repair/replacement of the output transformer(s) or other transformer(s), electronic components, power cord/plug, controls, tubes, sockets, resistors, capacitors, switches, terminal strip replacement/repair/addition, or other components/parts, etc. It is very heavy for its size! This amplifier will be carefully packed and double-boxed, with the tubes being removed from their sockets and individually wrapped with bubble-wrap. While I will pack this item very securely, some of the wires, components, parts, capacitors, resistors, sockets, transformers, Magnavox name-badge, terminal strips, controls, and other parts/components etc. However, I will do my best to try and prevent these situations by very carefully packing this amplifier although I cannot guarantee that they wont happen. Please make a note of this. Furthermore, all of the tubes, sockets, capacitors, resistors, transformers, wiring, power cord/plug, terminal strips, controls, and all of the amplifiers other components/parts need to be checked out by an electronic expert to see if the tubes are good, if the tubes are the correct ones for this amplifier, if the tubes are in the correct sockets, and if all of the tubes, capacitors, resistors, transformers, sockets, power cord/plug, wiring, terminal strips, power cord/plug, controls, and all of the amplifiers other components/parts are good, functional, correct for this amplifier, and operational. This needs to be done before the amplifier is powered-up, tested, used, worked on, connected to any other equipment, speakers, instruments, or components, connected to a power source/supply, handled, repaired, modified, upgraded, etc. Likewise, as noted above, there is no fuse in this amplifier it does not appear that there was ever one since there is no fuse-holder, etc. Although I dont know if this is correct or not. Likewise, I have no idea whether everything is original or not in the above-listed equipment and I therefore cannot make any warranties regarding originality. I also do not warrant that this amplifier is complete and I do not know if there are any missing, damaged, incomplete, previously repaired/replaced parts, malfunctioning or incorrect parts, components, tubes, sockets, etc. In addition, there may be various blemishes, marks, spots, or other similar items on the amplifier which are not visible in the photos due to their size, the lighting which existed when the photos were taken, etc. The item “RARE VINTAGE MAGNAVOX STEREO QUAD EL84 TUBE AMP AMPLIFIER (SHINY & NICE-LOOKING)” is in sale since Sunday, February 14, 2021. 1963 Ampeg Reverberocket R-12R Vintage Tube Amp Blue Diamond, Jensen C12R, Ftsw

Up for sale, a 1963 Ampeg R-12R Reverberocket in exceptional condition and perfect working order. The amp is complete with the original blue diamond tolex, Jensen C12R speaker, and footswitch, loaded with a bevy of vintage tubes including a matched pair of Hammond 6V6s. Under the oversight of Ampeg founder Everett Hull, Ampeg guitar amps were geared towards Jazz guitarists who wanted clean headroom and zero breakup, but according to former Ampeg employee Ken Fischer (long before starting his own company Trainwreck Amplifiers), there was one model that “slipped through the cracks”, and that was the R-12R Reverberocket. This amp has a fantastically spongy feel with plenty of chewy compression, thanks is large part to the octal preamp tubes (6SN7s and 6SL7s in this case), and picking dynamics are glorious, particularly when the amp is cranked to “edge of breakup” tones. The Reverberocket boasts footswitchable bias-based tremolo, along with onboard reverb (the first amp to do so, predating Fender’s Vibroverb by a year or two), which is thick and lush without sacrificing clarity. The circuit is extremely original, with only a few new Sprague Orange Drop capacitors and a couple 5W resistors in the preamp to keep everything working within original factory spec. The original CTS pots date to the 22nd week of’63, with one modern Alpha pot in the mix as well. Both transformers are original, manufactured for Ampeg by Electrical Windings and both dating to mid-1963. The date stamp on the edge of the original Jensen C12R speaker frame is from the 33rd week of’63, and the speaker has a particularly clean frame and original bell cover with minty Jensen foil sticker. The tube chart is intact inside the cabinet with hand-written tube designations and the original stamped serial number from’63. The tube compliment includes mostly vintage valves, with a matched pair of properly biased Hammond 6V6 power tubes. The chrome faceplate is quite clean, with the majority of the original white silkscreened text intact and just a speckling of light surface patina. All of the original knobs are present too. The original Blue Diamond tolex is extremely well-kept, showing only very minor edge wear and one small tear through the material on the lower right corner with a spot of blue marker touchup. The stock metal corners, feet, and raised Ampeg logo are intact, and the handle is original. The original two-button Reverb/Tremolo footswitch is included. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam, and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to ensure that your amp arrives safely. International orders will be declared as merchandise, and the value of merchandise will be declared as the amount paid. We cannot declare anything as a gift or for a lesser value. Up for sale, a 1964 Fender Tremolux in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The very first Blackface-era iteration of the Tremolux with its “Fender Electric Instruments” faceplate, smooth blonde tolex and gold sparkle grillcloth, this visually stunning amp offers a broad range of sparkling cleans and rich overdrive textures. Extremely original with the stock pair of Oxford speakers, the tone is stunning and quintessential Blackface Fender, with the perfect amount of clean headroom before the amp cascades into slightly compressed tube overdrive around 5 on the volume dial. The vibrato has a strong pulse, and each channel has a similar voicing, although the Normal channel has just a touch more low end and midrange punch. The preamp is extremely original, retaining all of the blue molded Ajax caps which are essential to the sweet, musical character of Fender’s Blackface-era circuits. The transformers (manufactured by Schumacher, Fender’s primary transformer supplier in the’60s) include the original power transformer and choke which both date to 1963, while the output transformer is a genuine Tremolux transformer which was substituted at some point in the amp’s life and dates to early 1965. It’s entirely possible that this is an early, factory-installed transformer. The CTS pots are all intact, with visible date codes from the 7th week of’64. The power supply features a full compliment of vintage Sprague Atoms, and the power cable has been upgraded to a modern three-prong variety. The power tubes are a matched pair of Sovtek 5881s (6L6s), and the preamp tubes and 5AR4 rectifier are all vintage valves from the likes of Amperex and RCA. The tube chart is intact with only light wear and a clean “NE” date stamp, which translates to May of 1964. The speaker cab boasts the original pair of Oxford 10K5 ceramic magnet speakers. These speakers have clean black frames and have both been professionally reconed, with matching date stamps from the 5th week of 1964. All of the original fiberglass baffling is intact inside the cabinet too. The amp has its original smooth blonde tolex and gold sparkle grillcloth, a cosmetic combination only available for a few short months at the end of 1963 leading into the first half of’64. The tolex shows only very minor scuffing and edge wear, and the grillcloth has plenty of sparkle left in the thread. Both original raised Fender logos are intact, and the faceplate is very well-kept, retaining its full compliment of original witch hat knobs. All of the original hardware is accounted for including handle caps, nickel corners, sphinx glides (feet), and piggyback clipbars and threaded cabinet inserts. A modern one-button footswitch is included to engage the tremolo, along with a reproduction Fender speaker cable.
