Vintage Tube Amp

Vintage 1940s-1950s tube PA head in good condition. Appears to be an old Brentwood, but no badges exist on this. I found an old Brentwood online with the exact same case. Has not been powered on. This unit is 100% original, with high quality vintage glass (untested, may need fresh tubes). This will be an easy tweed-era Fender style tube amp conversion for a competent amp tech to perform. Beautiful old transformer with 4-8-16 ohm taps. Unsure of wattage or power capabilities. Needs new caps and probably needs some of the old carbon comp resistors replaced, as I’m sure they’re out of spec. Chassis and case are in nice condition, and are very high quality. Nice heavy steel construction and a nice, thick, industrial paint job. This will make a great project for someone. Both units still look quite good – we rate them at least 8.5/10. Only has scratches/stains on the handles of the power amp. No dents or damage throughout. All tubes are intact and working. All functions have been tested by our tech and everything works very well. Sound is clear, powerful, and evenly balanced. We tested all buttons, listened for hours, and did not detect anything abnormal. Please be advised that we did not do any servicing and do not know the service history. Around the power supply, many coupling capacitors, MT socket, SP terminal, RCA terminal, VR, 4 VR for tone control have been replaced, maintenance? There are 3 stickers that I think I did. You can check the sound output, volume and sound quality with the phono, tuner, tape and auxiliary, but I don’t know if the performance is maintained, but the power tube has a Toshiba, Mallory? There are condensers, etc. The sound has been emitted for more than 10 hours, but no abnormality was seen, no VR type of glaze came out, the inside is very clean, of course, it has changed over time. Some panels are faded, but I think it’s good. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” – US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
