Although i have not plugged it in. (not going to) could and should be an easier repair. Present owner wants to sell as is, with no guarantee. VHT special 6 hand wired combo amp for sale. This is all tube 6 watt class A hand wired amp with 1x10VHT 50 watt speaker. Pre amp section (1) 12AX7 preamp tube, power amp section (1) 6V6 output tube. Great amp for home studio, practice or small venue shows. The amp is in a very good condition except two dings, one in the bottom front and another on the middle back side as shown on the pics. Vintage The Fisher Model 100 Mono-Block Tube Amp Amplifier. I was told by someone familiar with these that it’s not a good idea to power them on without the right equipment. But most likely it will need servicing. It has cosmetic wear as shown and the is missing some screws and I could not get the cover back on all the way. Vintage Tube Amplier Repurposed CBS 12AX7 + 2x 50C5′s Push Pull Handmade Chassis. I’ve repurposed an old CBS record player amp. It has original vintage concave style knobs, vintage power switch, and original speaker, but has an orange led for “on” indicator. You can use either stereo or mono. You only need to hook up either one of the RCA jacks in the rear for it to work. A low powered input is strong enough to power this beautiful 1950′s looking “radio” for original tube sound! The case is handmade from plywood and mdf with a plexiglass window. It has a 6 original speaker which had three very small holes in it which I repaired. I’ve run this for many hours without a problem and it sounds great! I’ve not tried it with a guitar, but it might work as a guitar amp. It has volume and tone controls. Original can capacitor and selenium rectifier were left on the chassis for show only and are not in ANY way electrically hooked up. The filter capacitors test fine with a high voltage tester to the microamp range. I only have a very basic schematic drawn on graph paper as I couldn’t find an exact schematic so I had to reverse engineer it. It is a very simple push pull design, so not too difficult to follow. Has a two prong polarized five foot power cord with a 1 amp internal fuse. This is originally a transformerless set, but now has an isolation transformer. There is NO electric connection between the chassis and the wall plug whatsoever! Note: This sale is just for the Amplifier. Other items in the photos are for photographing purposes only.
