Up for sale, a 1962 Fender Princeton in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This genuine vintage Brown Panel era Princeton features a very original 6G2-A circuit. The Princeton has a tone that is very dynamic and warm, with crystalline clean tones giving way to rich, saturated overdrive when turning up the Volume knob. The circuit is as pure and straightforward as they come, and the single Tone knob has a surprisingly wide range. The bias based tremolo circuit has a strong, dimensional pulse and particularly broad range of speeds too. The circuit retains the original pair of Schumacher transformers which date to the 39th (power) and 46th (output) weeks of’61, and the preamp retains all of the original blue molded Ajax tone caps, which have a particularly sweet, musical tonal character. The original Stackpole pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 43rd week of’61. The power supply features a new multi-section can cap, and two smaller Sprague electrolytic caps in the preamp, all ensuring reliable use. The tube complement includes all vintage valves, with a matched pair of vintage JAN 6V6s, a Silvertone-branded (RCA) 5Y3 rectifier, and vintage preamp tubes as well. The speaker is the original gold frame Oxford 10J4 speaker, with a date code on the edge of the frame from the 21st week of’62. The original tube chart is intact, retaining an “LA” date stamp which translates to January of 1962. Cosmetically, this amp features the original rough brown tolex, wheat grillcloth, and the stock leather handle. There’s a bit of light staining and scuffing on the edges of the enclosure, and light patina on the original handle caps and chassis straps. The faceplate is very clean, retaining the original brown barrel knobs. A modern replica Victoria Luggage-style slip cover is included.

Vintage 1965 Epiphone EA-28RVT, Pathfinder tube amp, used. These amps sound great! Power tubes: 6V6GT x 2. Pre-amp tubes: 6EU7, 6EU&, 6C4, 6EU7 (Mfg in Great Britain, etched AF3 over B4B3). Reverb transformer: 166420 (Chicago Electronic, 1964, 20th week). Speaker: Original CTS speaker. Date code: 137-506 (CTS, 1965, 6th week). Pots: Original Centralab (#134-64xx, date to 1964). Reverb is very nice. Original Reverb/Tremolo footswitch is included. This particular model of Epiphone is quite similar to Gibson’s GA-19RVT Falcon. The chassis has some of the usual minor pitting and corrosion. The screen lettering is in very good condition. The rear panel is an aftermarket replacement. It is close to the texture and color, but notably, not original. The 6 attachment screws are also not original. Original feet, carrying handle grill cloth & control knobs. The grill cloth has a very small thread pull just above the logo. This amp was recently serviced. All pots and jacks have been flush and lubed with Deoxit. All pot and jack nuts tightened. The 2 prong ac cord has been upgraded to a new 3 prong cord. The “death cap” has been deleted. A new custom fitted vinyl cover is included. US ADDRESSES WITHIN THE LOWER 48 STATES ONLY! EICO HF-81 Stereo Tube Amplifier with All Vintage Tubes, with EL84/6BQ5 in Output. Watch it in operation with music from Pro-Ject turntable on Youtube. All tubes are vintage and all included; some are Mullard etc. I provided some pictures to show the circuitry under the chassis. I plugged it in wall voltage of 120V and the amp worked fine and produced great and balanced music in both channels as shown in the video. Since this amp is very old, it may need services before daily use. At least, the new owner should have some professional to go over it. I did notice the following issues. The fuse holder is bit loose. At times, I had to re-tighten the fuse to power it up. The shaft of TREBLE control pot can be pushed in if you re-install the knobs on it. I inserted a small piece of hard foam behind it (inside the chassis) so it’s fixed, for now. I felt some of the contacts or wirings are not 100% secured. I once pulled out one tube shield and incidentally brushed on something (didn’t know what), causing the left channel silent. That channel recovered by itself a few minutes later. I couldn’t find out the cause. That’s why it’s very good idea to have a professional to service it so you can really enjoy it. Physical condition is really good for the age, much better than many others showed up for sale. The front is beautiful; all knobs are original. Chassis is pretty clean. Meshed cover is good. There may be some screws missing in the bottom plate. Overall, this is a beauty to me. I have other audio equipment, like. Vintage 1940′s Bell Air Electronic Corp BAMCO 14A Tube Amplifier UNTESTED. The unit is very old and rare. We have no knowledge about functionality. This is a Vintage 1920′s Western Electric 7A Amplifier Speaker Tube Amp Original Wood Case. It is in great cosmetic condition with wear from use and age. The case measures 12.5″ wide, 10″ long, and 4 deep.
