Vintage Tube Amp

This is a Bogen CHB 50 amplifier that works great. It has the original Bogen 6L6 output tubes (not sure about the preamp tubes). The pots and tube sockets were cleaned with Caig DEOX prior to listing. It has the usual paint peeling off issues, not all level controls have the original knobs, 2 of the preamp tube are missing the outer shield, 1 foot is missing and the “ON” light has been moved to the front panel, the rear flop down cover is missing, “under the hood” electronics appear to have not been repaired. David Bogen J130 Push Pull 6L6 Tube PA Amplifier. Tested and works well for Audio/Music or Microphone/Guitar. Includes microphone to 1/4 jack adapter for electric guitar use. This amplifier was plugged into a 4 x 12 speaker cab for testing. It has screw connectors for 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets. This amp will seriously overdrive when turned up and gets very loud with an electric guitar. The RCA phono jack can be used for line level (CD etc) inputs. All tubes test at least good (on an emissions type tester). The 5U4 rectifier tube and one of the 6L6 output tubes have broken guide pins but can still be used. The Red Power light works. HIGHLY MOTIVATED MUST SELL ASAP! Completely unspoiled pair of vintage BOGEN model MO 200 monoblock TUBE AMPS. These were taken out of their sealed boxes approx 5 or 6 years ago and used only a handful of times since! ALL tubes are the originals that came with amps and are branded BOGEN. All are essentially New Old Stock with matching codes and identical construction and test nos on TV7d/u tube tester. These have some HEAVY Iron! Each is rated at 200 watts per channel of CLEAN TUBE POWER! Each weighs approx 50 pounds! The sound is remarkable. They utilize EIGHT 8417 power output tubes and TWO 7247 tubes each. Amplifiers have been thoroughly gone through and tolerances tested. They are quiet with no hum or distortion and honestly sound incredible. I hooked them up to my Altec A4 Voice of the Theater speakers and also tested them on my 1961 Klipsch K-horns. Thunderous BASS with smooth clear high frequency response.
