Up for sale is a genuine, vintage 1959 Blaupunkt Frankfurt tube car radio complete with its matching remote tube amplifier unit and authentic-style Mercedes-era black and chrome knobs. This unit has been bench-tested and is in fully working operational condition. As is typical for authentic vintage tube radios, the tubes require a brief warm-up period of a few seconds after powering on before coming alive with clear sound. (Note: The Longwave [L] band pulls static interference during garage testing, consistent with local signal availability). Cosmetics & Components: Features a clean chrome faceplate, intact pushbuttons with crisp lettering (U-U-M-M-L), and the original perforated housing with authentic patina. Includes the complete wiring harness, connectors, and separate tube amplifier output stage. Fitment: Correct period-style aesthetic often sought after for classic European restoration projects (such as vintage Mercedes-Benz dashboards). An original vintage 1967 Fender Bassman tube amp head in great cosmetic condition. Blackface Bassmans have a well-deserved reputation as workhorse heads. They have a big, neutral clean tone that make them a perfect choice for players that use a lot of pedals. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds awesome. 1967 Fender “Black Face” Bassman Amp AB165. Power Supply has all new High Quality Electrolytic Capacitors. Kept the original blue molded caps in the tone stack and they tested within spec. Swapped out the dangerous power cord for a 3 pronger. This amp sounds really good. This is for the Amp only. Cab is not included.
