Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Very good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including surface wear and light corrosion on the chrome parts, wear and light corrosion on the transformers. This item shows some wear consistent with its age but is still presentable and sounds wonderful. What is Included: Amplifier, Four EL-34 tubes, Three Tung-Sol 6SN7 tubes, Banana plug speaker connection upgrade, Erhard ST-70 V1 board with EZ bias adjustment, upgraded power chord. Functional Notes: Operational condition of this item is excellent, fully tested and no issues found. Notes: The Erhard Audio ST70/ST120 Upgrade v1 board is installed. The mono/stereo switch was replaced with a volume control. Therefore, if you dont have a preamplifier, you can directly connect an audio source via the RCA line input and adjust the volume on the Dynakit amplifier. This Dynakit ST-70 amp is fairly dirty from sitting in storage for so long. I have no idea when it was last used. It’s been modified with some gold RCA connectors, and there may be more mods under the chassis. Please note that the EL34 tubes that are included are not Mullards, but rather National that claim to have been made in Germany. My guess is that they were made in Russia. No GZ34 is included, nor is a cover. This one will make a great parts unit or candidate for restoration. This piece of equipment is believed to have not been used in years (possibly decades). It will almost certainly need some level of service. This may include: replacement of electrical components (such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, tubes, etc), cleaning of controls, alignment, and so forth. If you’re not qualified to do this work yourself, we’re happy to provide you with a list of qualified technicians available for hire. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. Rest assured, you’ll receive your item in excellent condition!
