Vintage Tube Amp

Good overall condition, some areas could be touched up, please see photos for cosmetics. I did clean up the top a bit, was very dusty from sitting – likely for 40+ years. Great project amplifier – service/restore it and tube it… Good guitar conversion project, or pair it with your other HF-20 and make it stereo! VERY HEAVY – will be double boxed and packed right.

Amplifier has been serviced. Parts replaced or repair where needed. On switch not working. Cord has been replaced with on off switch in cord. All other funtions in working order.

The filter capacitors have been replace with Sprague TVA Atom capacitors. The amp is 12 watts output. It uses the following tubes (NOT INCLUDED).

EICO ST70 vintage stereo tube amplifier. Pls check the photos closely.

This is a 14 watts per channel output stereo amplifier and can be used as a 28 watt mono amplfier. Two new Heyboer output transformers have been added. Original EICO EL 84 output tubes remain. This amp sounds great and should give many hours of faithful performance. It is guaranteed to be working upon arrival but no long term guarantee is provided due to age of some components. Will be carefully wrapped/boxed.

Eico HF87 Tube Amplifier newly serviced & restored! If you’re checking this out, chances are you already know about this amp- sounds incredible, extremely rare, and hard to find in good condition. Kills me to have to sell this, but here we are. Hope it goes to a good home! This unit is working and in great condition. It has just been professionally serviced and restored- as in a month and a half ago! All new and matching J&J EL34 tubes (see full list of new and replaced parts on the invoice). The only minor cosmetic damage is the obnoxious circle cut out in the exterior cage (see photo). The original owner made a bad decision to install a filter cap that doesn’t fit (it’s since been replaced). Reach out if you have any specific questions, thanks!
