Vintage Tube Amp

This is an early Sansui SM-32 hi-fi stereo tube receiver/amplifier. The unit is untested. I have not powered it on and do not know its operating condition. It is also missing some of the vacuum tubes, so it should be gone through by a qualified technician before any attempt is made to use it. Cosmetic condition is shown in the photos. The chassis has oxidation/corrosion, age wear, dirt, scratches, and other typical vintage wear. The faceplate presents fairly well overall, but there are flaws and wear visible. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Includes the Sansui SM-32 unit only, as pictured. No extra tubes, covers, manuals, or accessories are included unless shown in the photos.

Vintage 1940′s Bell Air Electronic Corp BAMCO 14A Tube Amplifier UNTESTED. The unit is very old and rare. We have no knowledge about functionality. Please take advantage of the zoom feature on the photos to judge cosmetics for yourself. What you see in the photos is what exactly you receive. If it’s not pictured it’s not included. If items are damaged in transit, a claim should be filed with the carrier. We can file the claim if you wish. Please save box and all packaging material for carrier inspection. We include these additional lines for our mutual protection, but if you check our feedback, you can trust that we go out of our way to ensure the satisfaction of our buyers, as our business will only be as good as our reputation. Not all equipment can be tested for 100% functionality. Some items are tested for basic power up capability only. If something is not in the pictures or description it is probably not included, unless it is specifically listed as included.

Large mixed lot of approximately 33-34 vintage vacuum / radio tubes. Includes assorted vintage brands such as RCA, GE, Tung-Sol, Sylvania and others. Most tubes are housed in vintage boxes; however, I have not verified that every tube matches the box it is currently in. Some may be good, weak, dead, mismatched or suitable only for parts/testing. Boxes show typical age-related wear including staining, writing, fading, tears and storage wear. Approximate count: 33-34 tubes. Great for vintage radio restoration, audio amplifiers, electronics projects, testing, collecting or resale.

Photos represent item and condition best. Top tuner model powers on. Bottom unit powers on intermittently. I do not have the capability to test beyond that.

Vintage Sears Silvertone Model 1485 “Six Speakers” tube amplifier head, manufactured by Danelectro during the 1960s. Chassis number 185.11050. This listing is for the amplifier head only; no speaker cabinet or footswitch is included. Cosmetic wear, oxidation, scratches and age-related deterioration are present as shown. No guarantees are made regarding operation, tubes or internal components.

THE PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. That’s why they are included. A picture is worth a thousand words. So please study the photos and FULLY read the listing description. I mostly sell older, used items – expect them to show wear and have some flaws. I try to give the best descriptions I can. It’s possible that some items may have unobservable or internal problems or damage that I’m not aware of. I do not completely disassemble items for inspection. I avoid using UPS. I try to charge as close as possible to actual costs.

I bought these in 2005 to build a tube audio stereo system. That system did not get built and now these original A-7s are available. Heathkit amps of the postwar era are beautiful straightforward designs that produce amazingly warm audio. The A-7 uses a 5Y3 rectifier, a 12SN7/12SL7 driver, and 12A6 output tubes. Please review the photos and forward any questions or comments.

Vintage UTC Linear Standard MLF tube amplifier, manufactured circa 1954 by United Transformer Corporation (UTC). This is an extremely rare mid-century hi-fi amplifier built during UTC’s golden era and designed around original UTC transformers throughout. Units like this rarely come up for sale in complete form and are highly sought after by collectors, restorers, and transformer enthusiasts. I do not have the proper equipment to safely power or test vintage tube electronics, and no attempt has been made to plug this unit in. Due to its age, please assume it will require service, restoration, or parts replacement before use. No guarantees are made regarding functionality. Cosmetically, the unit shows normal age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with a 1950s amplifier. There is no obvious major damage visible. Please refer to the photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the exact condition of the item. This model is documented on Radiomuseum and recognized as a high-quality Linear Standard / Williamson-style hi-fi amplifier built to showcase UTC transformer technology. Additional reference information can be found here. Serious buyers who are familiar with UTC gear will appreciate what this is.
