Vintage Tube Amp

Here we have a Grundig NF-2 Stereo Tube power amp in good working condition. Pair of EL84′s per side, around 15Wrms per channel. Includes speaker connector and harness. Excellent bass response from the high quality output transformers. Full power measured response 40-15Khz +/-1dB. The amplifier has been rebuilt. The original AC connector was replaced with a fused IEC inlet. Also the main filter cap was replaced and some leaking coupling caps also replaced. RCA input jacks also added to top of chassis for convenient hookup. The amplifier is in good operational condition, ready to go into service. Sovtek EL84′s and JJ 12ax7 are currently installed.

Grundig standalone console speaker. Powered, with internal tube amp, power switch, and tone controls. I did not plug it in or attempt to test in any way, tubes are not my area of expertise and I did not want to risk damage. Appears to be complete and original. I don’t know the model name. Google searching indicates it may be a V-Box II? It is similar to some non-amplified Grundigs and stylistically similar to some of the Majestic models. 31″ tall, 21.5″ wide, and 10.5 deep. Cosmetic condition is very good. There are small chips here and there, some minor marks and scratches. The laquer coating on the top has some cracking, it was hard to photograph. It’s a very thick coating. There is a small ding in the trim near the bottom. The grill cloth is stained. Legs are screw in type, and are sturdy. If you need to see additional details or have questions please let me know. Will be expertly packed, these are rare, hard to find, and I don’t want it to get damaged any more that you do.
