1961 Harmony Bass Amp H322 Vintage Tube Amp 4x8 Lectrolab, Great for Guitar

Up for sale, a 1961 Harmony Bass Amp model H322 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A rare and unusual vintage tube amp made for Harmony in the USA by Lectrolab, the H322 is, like the Fender Bassman before it, an amp marketed for bass and best suited for guitar. With a single channel and pair of fixed bias 7591 power tubes, the H322 delivers a rich tone via a quad of vintage RCA-branded 8 speakers. Not a particularly bright amp, the H322 has very responsive Treble and Bass controls and a Volume knob that’s best set all the way to its max. In fact, maxing out all the knobs seems to be this amp’s preferred state of being, and the distortion is positively thick, wooly, and raucous. It’s a dynamic and touch sensitive amp that a perfect apartment companion, studio secret weapon, or club gig powerhouse (with a microphone in front of it). And while the amp easily pushes enough volume on its own merits to compete with some drummers, its wattage and size make it a particularly versatile tube amp to have in your stash. The circuit has just been fully serviced and recapped as necessary, and all original transformers are intact. Like one would expect with a vintage bass amp, the transformers are quite generous in their size and are largely responsible for the power and fullness this amp can deliver. The tubes are all vintage and largely original, with EICO branded preamp tubes made by Mullard, and USA-made EICO 7591 power tubes. The speakers are a quad of alnico RCA-branded 8 speakers that date to 1957. Cosmetically, the amp is quite clean, with original white silkscreen graphics on the blue hammerite faceplate and stock white chicken head knobs as well. There is one silver plug on the faceplate from a previously removed mod. The original tolex and grillcloth are present along with the original back panel, and the dark grayish blue covering on the amp has held up well over the decades, especially given how this material is much more fragile than the tolex used by other manufacturers. Harmony 304 A Guitar Amp Vintage guitar amp Fender Amp Jensen speaker Tube Amp

They are getting more rare. Get it now and it’s yours. No more I knew I should have spent that 80 dollars more than I wanted to. It would be sitting here now. I don’t play guitar anymore, Or I’d hold onto it another ten years when it was worth more than I’m asking now. It’s a1962 Harmony guitar amplifier in great condition. They were both in mint shape when I bought them in 1982. I only used the amp for about two hours total. I bought an accoustic shortly after and never really learned to play guitar. The amp just sat. It’s got a couple stains on the front from something. Not sure whatever caused them. Over time they just seem to have gotten a little worse. The cloth is in excellent shape as is the whole amp with a 10 Jensen speaker. Even the handle is like new. You won’t be disappointed. Up for sale, a 1965 Harmony H-304A tube amplifier in good working order. Manufactured for Harmony in the USA by Lectrolab, the H-304A features a point-to-point hand-wired circuit that has just been meticulously gone through by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar to ensure perfect performance. With a Class A circuit that drives a single 6V6 power tube through a 10 heavy duty alnico speaker, the amp can deliver m. Odest overdrive and a glassy, clear tone with single coils. The circuit pushes into buzzsaw fuzz and fully saturated sizzle with P-90s or humbuckers, and the speaker keeps the low end fairly tight and minimizes speaker distortion even when dimed. The original transformers are intact, and the original CTS pots date to 1964, while the chassis stamp dates to’65. The blue hammerite finished chassis is remarkably clean, with all of the original white silkscreen graphics and text intact as well as all of the original white chicken head knobs. The original smooth dark grayish-blue covering on the enclosure is intact along with the salt and pepper grillcloth. The stock leather handle is present, but the original back panel is missing. Also, likely to cover up light wear on the material, the top of the amp was lightly painted black, and this extends slightly on the sides as well. This amp functions exactly as intended and is a perfect studio secret weapon. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! Up for sale, a 1966 Harmony H440 tube amplifier in exceptional condition and in good working order. Like all top-tier Harmony amps of this era, this amp was produced by Valco in the USA, parent company of Supro, National, Airline, and others. Both visually and sonically impressive, this massive 2×12 combo amp was Harmony’s most expensive offering of the era and extremely rare in any condition. Essentially a Supro Thunderbolt with dual 35 watt output transformers and a gigantic power transformer to sum the two sides, this amp is utterly unique and extremely powerful. Top it off with two matched pairs of vintage RCA 6L6GC power tubes and dual rectifiers and you’ve got one very cool amp. The original Jensen C12P speakers accentuate everything we love about vintage Valco preamps, with a color and tone stack that is unique in the vintage amp world. Nothing has the full, harmonic rich overdriven qualities of a vintage Valco amp and the H440 is one of the most revered circuits, with the quintessential Led Zeppelin tone. The tremolo also has a very strong chop to it and the reverb (from the small two spring tank housed in the original cardboard box) has a lo-fi, surfy quality that is ideal for’60s garage and psych tunes. The circuit is very original, with stock transformers and a virtually untouched preamp. An example of true point-to-point wiring, the amp retains its original tone caps and has CTS pots that date to early’66. Tube rectified and pushing roughly 70 watts through two pairs of 6L6GC power tubes, the amp boasts particularly large transformers given its output, and this adds tremendously to the power and punch that the H440 can deliver. A modern three-prong power cable has also been installed. The speakers are the original matched pair of Jensen C12Ps with clean black frames, original gold foil labels on the magnets, and date codes from the 8th week of 1966. Cosmetically, this amp is very clean especially given its size. The black silkscreening on the faceplate is very vibrant and mostly intact, and the chrome shines like new. The original tolex has the “ostrich” pattern seen on some’60s Supro amps and the stock grillcloth shows only limited aging. The polished chrome faceplate is also particularly free from wear. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam, and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to assure that your amp arrives safely. Up for sale, a 1965 Harmony 430 tube amplifier in excellent condition and in good working order. Like many Harmony amps of this era, this amp was produced by Valco in the USA, parent company of Supro, National, Airline, and others and is also known as the 6162 Reverb-Tremolo. ” This Harmony has a pair of Jensen 10″ speakers that accentuate everything we love about vintage Valco preamps, with a color and tone stack that is unique in the vintage amp world. Nothing has the full, harmonic rich overdriven qualities of a vintage Valco amp and the 430 is one of the most revered circuits, with the quintessential Led Zeppelin tone. It’s the sound of a stack in an open back 2×10 enclosure that has enough depth to really add some low end heft to the tone! The tremolo also has a very strong chop to it and the reverb (from the tiny two spring tank housed in the original cardboard box) has a lo-fi, surfy quality that is ideal for’60s garage and psych tunes. The circuit is very original, with the stock output transformer, a newer Hammond power transformer and a recap of the main power supply to assure that everything is operating within original factory spec. An example of true point-to-point wiring, the amp has mostly untouched solder joints and CTS pots that date to’65. Tube rectified and pushing roughly 15-20 watts, the amp boasts a pair of 6973 power tubes. A modern three-prong power cable has also been installed. The speakers are a matched pair of Jensen C10R ceramic drivers with clean black frames and 1965 date codes on the edges of the frames. Cosmetically, this amp is in great shape and the black silkscreening on the control panel is vibrant and intact. The original tolex has a subtle black ostrich pattern and the grillcloth shows modest aging, with a shiny chrome faceplate. There are some modest scuffs and light wear around the corners of the enclosure, but overall this 430 is a rare, versatile, and exceptional sounding amp that looks great and has been recently serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar.
