This 1956 Magnavox mono tube amplifier model 128E includes its matching phono preamp control and. The original L-shaped wooden control panel overlay from the Magnasonic phonograph console it came from. The big 128E amp contains four 6V6 tubes and two 5Y3GT tubes, as well as a 12AX7. The original power indicator light is still wired in. The preamp contains a single 6AV5 tube and has three knobs that control volume, treble, and bass. The bass switch also turns the power on and off. Preamp has a mono phono input and a hard-wired rca cord that connects to the main amplifier. The small 12AX7 and 6AV5 tubes are from Sylvania and Motorola, the rest are all Magnavox brand. The amp platform measures 13 inches x 11 inches x 2 1/8 inches (side mounting fins are 3/4 inch each). HI, up for sale is this VINTAGE MAGNAVOX AMP MODEL 101B this amp just came out of a fully functional radio console that had a record player and shortwave radio the amp is in good shape it need a cleaning i just used a steel wool on it for a few second and as you can see it will clean up very good, all the parts under the chassis are in perfect shape. Please note that the big black cord was connected to the tuner that was also the ON/OFF switch so in order to use this you must put a on/off switch before you can turn this on and use it. Magnavox 8802 Tube Amp. Amplifier has all new capacitors, including the electrolytic can capacitor. Amplifier also has 390 Ohm resistor mod to give it a bit more punch. Tube Complement is 6V6, 6EU7 and a 6CA4. All tubes are Magnavox. I do not have a tester, but they appear to have little use cosmetically and sound great. This Amp sounds awesome. 1958 Hi-Fidelity Record Player Here’s a beautiful and fun Magnavox Hi-Fi from 1958! This unit was one of the top of the line players from the 1950′s; It’s styling and sound simply can’t be beat… This was completely restored, and looks just fabulous with it’s newly re-covered blue and white cabinet and gold legs. Has a beautiful 4 speed automatic VM record changer, with auto-45 adapter included! You can stack LP’s on this, 45′s too! And each will play in turn, and the unit will shut off automatically when the last record has played. Excellent dual speaker system, and topped off with a powerful three tube amplifier! Both the record changer and amplifier were completely restored. The amplifier has all new components, including all new resistors and capacitors, along with a new 12′ power cord. Strong vintage Magnavox black plate 50EH5 output tubes make this beauty really sound amazing! The changer has a new stereo cartridge and flip over Diamond/Saphire stylus for playing 33′s or 45′s.
