8 of the bulbs are Telefunken brand. This amp still looks very good and works very well. No big scratches or damage. Has been thoroughly tested by a vintage audio technician and everything is working well. All inputs produce clear, powerful, and evenly balanced sound. This old HH Scott receiver had been stored in a garage for years, likely decades. It was pretty dusty but cleaned up reasonably well with some compressed air and brush. We removed the 7591 and 12AX7 tubes, but otherwise it’s exactly as we found it. Due to the fact that it’s sat so long, we’ve made no attempt to test it. It’ll likely need new capacitors or other components. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. For sale is a used H. Scott Stereomaster tube integrated amplifier. The model number is LK-72-B. The pre-amp has been tested by me using a Scott 110-B Tuner. The amp sounds good in both channels. There is a small amount of static in the volume when turned up and down but quits when the knob stops turning. The faceplate looks pretty good. I have not tested the strength of the tubes. Presenting a pair legrndary of rare 1950s H. SCOTT 240 MonoTube Power Amplifiers. Cosmetics are excellent as yiu can see. They were both slowly variaced up. On one amp with all original silver cans. > the far left Silver can was getting hot so we shut that one down. Its gonna need the tall 40uf/40uf 300v can. The other amp had that can samev40/40 cap replaced at some point years ago with 4 outboard caps. This amp passed a nice clean signal with a CD player. After about 20 minutes the 4 cap bundle started getting hot so we shut it down. So the same 40uf /40uf 350v cap needs to be replaced. No chassis modification was done so if you want to install the original style can thats no problem. We are including 4 brand NOS Vintage set of Seimens Roher EL34s thet are labeled tested and inspected. We tested them anyway on our Hickock and they test excellent. There are also 4 top quality Telefunken 12AX7s on board. Two in each amp. The (2) Sylvania 5U4 rectifier tubes tested excellent. Definately the coolest looking pair of H. SCOTT Mono Amplifiers ever produced. Well engineered with the Branded signature cast Aluminium side panels. They should both be gone over by a qualified tech to be sure they are up to facrory specs. This is an estate sale find. Tested everything is working. All tubes light up. Crisp Clean sound no static. Volume knob doesnt turn the unit off, it does control the sound functionality but doesnt turn the unit on and off. Thats the only problem I found with this unit.
