Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a very nice VHT Special 6 Tube Amp Head. This is one of the best “sleeper” amps out there (look it up). 6 watts of power with a few little additions that give the amp a wide range of sounds (Hi/Lo inputs, Boost, High/Low power switch). But what sets this amp apart is the hand-wired chassis on a traditional eyelet board instead of a pcb board. That makes the amp easy to modify or to upgrade if desired. This amp is in excellent condition and has never been out of the house. It comes with an E-H 6V6 GT power tube and a Tung-Sol 12AX7 pre-amp tube. VHT special 6 hand wired 6 watt amp had tube swap done and added Eminence Lil’buddy speaker for killer vintage tone, crunch and early breakup. This amp gets loud no more need to lug those heavy amps around anymore. As good of tone as vintage tweed amps at have the price. Great guitar and harp amps in small package. Also has pull boost knob and footswitch.

VHT Special 6 Ultra Tube Amp Head. Bought new well, listed as new, but it has a couple of cosmetic imperfections (see photo), so I think it was either a demo or a return, played for about a half hour or so. The last photo is a stock image, included so you can see the controls better than in my photo. It is in excellent condition. I have replaced the stock power tube with a JJ 6v6 power tube for a smoother tone. This amp has two channels, clean and ultra, an effects loop, and an included foot switch that gives a gain boost. There are no defects with this unit and it has been packed very carefully. Comes with power cord.

VHT special 6 hand wired combo amp for sale. This is all tube 6 watt class A hand wired amp with 1x10VHT 50 watt speaker. Pre amp section (1) 12AX7 preamp tube, power amp section (1) 6V6 output tube. Great amp for home studio, practice or small venue shows. The amp is in a very good condition except two dings, one in the bottom front and another on the middle back side as shown on the pics.
