Here’s a fabulous vintage VM tube amplifier. This is an amplifier/speaker that originally complimented a VM reel to reel player. You can use this with an iPhone, iPad, CD player, etc.. There’s a convenient RCA input on top, along with a 1/4 Jack for a microphone! The 6V6 amplifier has been redone with all new capacitors and resistors. Including a new crossover capacitor in the dual speaker section. There’s a great little red pilot lamp in the front, that lets you know the unit is on. Works and sounds like new! Beautiful, warm, full tube sound is what you get. From this fun and unique unit.. The top lid is hinged and also removable. There’s a neat little storage area inside too! The original cabinet covering is still in decent shape, having some common wear from age and use, see photos. An all together beautiful sounding vintage mono amplifier. Size: 19″W x 16″D x 11H. 3 x 6 round Alnico full range speakers. Tube Compliment: 35L6, 35L6, 35Z5, 12AX7 In push Pull configuration. Cartridge: Tetrad, STEREO with new tone arm wiring harness, Diamond. 07 mil for LP’s on one side of flip over style needle and 3 mil Sapphire on the other side for 78′s. Note: A 45 spindle adapter IS included. Audio output is about: 10-12 Watts. Comes with used Chrome finished, adjustable Tulip stand (not original with this item). The amplifier has been rebuild and serviced with new electrolytic filter capacitors and all old wax tubular capacitors replaced with new ceramic capacitors. The volume, tone, Treble / Bass control cleaned with deoxit. The speakers have been inspected and cleaned of all dust bunnies. The power cord is has been replaced with new polarized power cord. Voice of Music VOM Stereo Tube Amp Receiver. Condition is working “Used”. This was removed from an high end hi fi console and remounted in new oak frame. Bluetooth /USB receiver adapter (plugs into power outlet on back- see photo) included. Rich tube tone with no hums, controls work nicely. The old “Phonograph” interface wires are cut in back. Audio tubes are: 7025 preamp and 6BQ5 power tubes. Tube rectifier is 6CA4.
