The amp is all tube and 18 watts so it’s fairly loud and has a nice amount of clean headroom. The amp also has a killer sounding Tremolo. The amp has been serviced and is working and sounding really nicely. The speaker is a newer (non original) Jensen 12 speaker which works really nicely for electric guitar on this amp. Up for sale here is this vintage Stromberg-Carlson AU34 tube amplifier. This is an interesting one. It was recapped/rebuilt by a previous owner, so it has some new caps and new power resistors, and some nice Sprague Black Beauty caps. I brought it up on a Variac and it does play well and sounds fairly good. The rebuild work is fairly good but this does have holes in the top of the chassis–I think there are supposed to be metal covers over these, but I’m not sure. Physical condition is fairly good but this does have a moderate amount of wear and rust overall, and is missing the feet, handle, screws for the cage, and one bottom screw. On the plus side, this has the schematic on the underside of the bottom panel, and both the cage and bottom are included. This has the original knobs as well, which could use a good cleaning. This includes all the tubes–1 6N7, 1 6SF5, 1 6SJ7, 1 5U4GB, and 2 6L6GC (GE). I tested the 6L6GC tubes, and one tested at 93 and the other test at 100 but tested positive for shorts and grid emissions. This is on my B&K 747B, on a scale of 0-120 where 65 is minimum good. These still work right now but you may want to replace them. I didn’t test any of the other tubes. This has 3 separate inputs on the side–an RCA jack, a screw-on microphone jack, and 2 screw terminals. All inputs seem to work fine. This has a bunch of output options on the back, and has a 1/4 jack hanging out of the back as well. I tested this using that jack and it does play and work fine. You might want to clean up the work on this, and just clean it up in general. These are supposed to make good guitar amps, and this would make an awesome “rat rod” amp. It’s been sitting on a shelf for a while, and deserves some love. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. Up for sale here is this vintage Bell 2325 mono tube integrated amplifier, probably from the late 1950s and made in USA. This is a fairly rare and very sought-after amplifier. This is tested and is in working condition. It does play music clearly. However, it has some issues and I strongly recommend that you fully rebuild this before use. A previous owner replaced a few of the under-chassis capacitors, but there are many other original capacitors in there that should probably be replaced. There are two loose wires up by the controls, one of which looks like it was supposed to be unused, but the other one may have come loose from something. This is very dusty or sooty or something on lots of areas–I don’t know what that’s about. The top cover has some sort of damage in the middle–if you want to clean it up, you may have to sandblast it and repaint it. The bottom of the power transformer has a dent but I doubt that affects anything. The faceplate and knobs are in nice condition and look good. Please take a close look at my pictures to understand the condition. This is complete with all covers, hardware, tubes, tube covers, and knobs. It uses a 5U4GB rectifier (GE), 2 6L6 output tubes (unmarked, but I think they’re new Russian tubes), a 12AV6 (probably US-made, but I didn’t look), and 3 12AX7 tubes (I think two are Realistic Made in Taiwan and one is USA-made, but I’m not 100% sure). All tubes are included and seem to work fine, but are not guaranteed. This is tested and does play music. When you initially turn it on (which you do by pulling out the Loudness control), there is a hum that I think comes from the transformer. It does not come from the speakers, but I think from the transformer itself, and it doesn’t entirely go away after startup. I do not know if this is normal. This seemed to play fine, but I would STRONGLY recommend you fully rebuild this before use, especially with that big paper can cap in the bottom. Please see my pictures for details. Up for sale here is this vintage Bell PM10 Pacemaker single-ended mono tube integrated amplifier, probably from the mid to late 1950s and made in USA. This is a fairly rare and very sought-after amplifier, especially for guitar use. This is tested and is in working condition. It does play music clearly. These are supposed to make killer guitar amps. A previous owner replaced a few of the under-chassis capacitors, but there are still some vintage caps under there, as well as plenty of carbon comp resistors. There are two wires sticking out of the chassis, which would normally go to the pilot light. You could redo this with a pilot light underneath, add a pilot light on top, or just leave it as-is. Physical condition is good–this has light to moderate wear overall but nothing too bad. The faceplate and knobs are in nice condition and look good. This does not have a top cover/cage but is otherwise complete with all hardware, tubes, knobs, and bottom. It uses a 5Y3GT rectifier (JAN National Union), a 6L6GB output tube (Sylvania), a 6AV6 (probably US-made, but I didn’t look), and a 12AX7 tube (Westinghouse Made in Japan). All tubes are included and seem to work fine, but are not guaranteed. The power cord appears to be original and is not cracked or brittle, but it does have a few scrapes here and there, though none are deep enough to be a problem. This is tested and does play music. It sounds good and has no hums or buzzes. There is a super-tiny bit of noise in the background but it is extremely quiet and if you were using this as a guitar amp you certainly wouldn’t notice it. This has two inputs–the old-style screw-down mic input and an RCA input. It has two speaker outputs on the back, both of which give you the option of 4, 8, or 16 ohm taps. You could replace those with 1/4 jacks fairly easily if you wanted. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. This is a super cool Silvertone amplifier. All is working as it should, This is all original but the sides were re-covered in brown tolex.. The inside has been professionally checked out and sounds amazing. The tremelo is a push button and also works great. Amazing when you turn it up, she overdrives really nice….
