This item is a bit of a “Mystery Box “. It was built by my father in the 60′s, who was a senior electrical engineer withBell Labs and recently passed away. I do believe it is still working, but would need to be properly tested to be certain.

Vintage 1960′s Harman Kardon TA3000X Tube Stereo Receive Power On / Untested. It does power on, but it emits a loud from inside, unusual noise. We have not checked the unit for any functionality beyond that. Missing screws for cover. Please take advantage of the zoom feature on the photos to judge cosmetics for yourself. What you see in the photos is what exactly you receive. If it’s not pictured it’s not included. If items are damaged in transit, a claim should be filed with the carrier. We can file the claim if you wish. Please save box and all packaging material for carrier inspection. Supro Valco 16T 5W 1×8 Combo Tube Amplifier – Vintage 1960s. Amplifier is almost completely original (AC cord was changed to 3 prong ground). 2 inch tear in original speaker woofer. The Supro Valco 16 T Amplifier is in perfect working condition aside from the speaker tear. Tones are clean and tremolo works perfectly. General service (July 2023) at professional repair shop in Los Angeles. All pots, sockets, jacks, wiring, tubes, electronics, etc. Made in Chicago, USA.
