Vintage Dynakit series 70 tube Amplifier. A very clean cage and a well-cared-for piece of equipment. The Amp works as i see all tubes light up except one and that one receives power as it gets hot. It may just need a new tube and work perfectly or may need a little service i can’t really say. The person i bought it from was the original owner and was as meticulous and clean as could be. I haven’t cleaned the units outside but i think it could be cleaned to look like new from the outside if you wish. A wonderful piece of our audio history to enjoy. As such, it does not come with any guarantee– implied or written. The amp was tested by our tech and is working good as is with no parts replace. Our tech said this amp was made to be reliable and would make a great foundation for modifications. The tubes are vintage to the unit as we received it and work as is, but the amp may benefit with new tubes. There is wear from use/storage like scratches, scuff and dust. Comes with a custom made schematic for further repairs. 1 x 6J5 Sylvania. 1 x 6SN7GT RCA. 2 x 6L6GC RCA. 2 x 6L6GC Baldwin. 2 x 5U4GB General Electric. Comes with original bottom cover. This is a pre-WW2 vintage Vacuum tube audio audio amplifier made by Presto Recording Corp. This is model 88-A. The model 88-A was the first hi power model built exclusively for use in disk recording. This has 4 X 807 vacuum tubes in push pull output. This amplifier is in fair condition with rust and missing paint. There is one vacuum tube missing. This is a very hard to find pre-WW2 Presto Recording Corp amplifier. This would be a very great restoration project. I have not tested this, it is original as found.
