VINTAGE BELL HIGH FIDELITY MODEL 2300 TUBE AMPLIPHIER. This is a pretty clean looking amp. The power light illuminated and I could see tubes lit up in the amp. (see photos) I hooked up a source and a speaker and it played. I thought it was muted and terrible sounding but it played. It probably needs new tubes and probably other tuning. The amp has a very heavy steel case. Amp is from the late 50′s. This amp is over 70 years old so there are no guarantees it will continue to work due to age and tubes or wiring being fragile. This is a Vintage 1950′s Bell & Howell Filmosound 385 Custom Tube Guitar Amp Speaker Cab Project. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with light wear from use and age. The amp worked when it was last in use. The tubes are used and may be original to the amp, I have not tested the tubes for strength and they may need to be replaced. This is for the amp shown only.
