Highly prized by musicians looking for that unique old school sound lost on today’s synthesizer kids. Appears in decent shape for its age (aprox 1950s) cosmetically. Vintage Bell & Howell Filmosound 385 Tube Amplifier Amp & Speaker – Tested WORKS. Tested and working (a mp was tested on a stepdown converter due to the age). A soft static sound is heard from speaker while amp is on. When playing sound through the amp, the audio will be louder background static at normal volume levels when the knob is above the halfway mark. Static sound does not increase with volume level. All Bell and Howell branded tubes installed. Amplifier is unrestored, service is recommended before further use. Original projector speaker included, working. Standard signs of use. May have cosmetic wear and/or scuffs. Paint chipped on power transformer. Surface rust on some areas of the chassis and speaker. See photos for more detail. Includes only what is pictured.
