Nice condition 1966 Vintage Ampeg Jet J-12D version. Please look carefully at the photos. Don’t hesitate to ask for more photos. Check out the tolex and grill cloth on this one. This killer little combo amp is in sweet condition and I doubt you will find another 1966 vintage Ampeg Jet J-12D anywhere close to being this clean cosmetically. These Ampeg J-12D models are getting scarce, are highly sought after (for many reasons), and are very collectable. Light weight and super portable. Not to mention, built like a miniature tank. The build quality is top notch. Ampeg used quality parts and paid close attention to detail with these little gems. There is some fading of the silk screen on the faceplate, which is consistent with these amps of this vintage. Most Vintage Ampeg Jets we have seen have the silkscreen on the control panel almost completely rubbed off and missing. This happens over time and with a lot of use. This little Jet is all original and un-molested. It sounds wonderful at any volume. You’ll be surprised at the power of this little gem. Pedals really shine when used with this amp. He really hates to let it go, but he’s gotten older, doesn’t play much anymore, and says. It’s time to clear some things out. He takes great care of all his instruments and gear, and is very meticulous. He’s owned this amp for well over 20 years and says it has served him well at home and in the studio. He said it has never been on a live gig as long as he has owned it. Like other Ampeg amps of this era, the Jet 12 experienced some variations both in its enclosure style as well as in its electronic configuration. Vintage 1960/61 Supro 1620T. Amplifier is in great shape and has been serviced only by Michael Clark of Clark Amplification. He also updated the power cord to a three way high quality cord. The badge is a reproduction. Preamp tubes are Phillips USA vintage tubes. Tremendous tremolo, but missing the footswitch unfortunately. Original speaker still is strong and has that classic tone. Has the classic Zeppelin 1 and 2 tones with a boost on the front end. Also to note that this very amp was used by Marcus King on almost every single track of the self titled Marcus King Band Album. It was used in conjunction with a Super Reverb and vintage Marshall to blend varied amounts of each depending on the track. This was Warren Haynes idea to do this with this amp and it worked great. The track Devils Land on the album really showcases this particular amps tone. 1965 Supro S6422TR Tremo-Verb Combo Tube Amp in outstanding condition. It is all original and everything works perfectly. This is a glorious sounding low-watt 1×10 combo that is packed with features for its size. It has both Reverb and Tremolo, which is rare to see in a 5W amp. The Reverb and Tremolo are each individually foot-switchable. If you ever wanted a Fender Princeton Reverb Blackface but thought it was too loud to get good breakup, this is the amp for you. This amp is in fantastic condition for its age. There is very little wear to note. The Blue Rhino Hide tolex looks great. The handle works perfectly. All knobs work and the majority of letting is visible. The reverb and tremolo both sound good with no issues. The original Supro-branded Jensen C10R speaker dates to 1965. All electronics are original and date to 1965, including the power transformer and all potentiometers. The power switch was replaced with a rotary on/off. The 6V6 main output and 12AX7 pre-amp tubes have just been replaced. Includes a footswitch and a Fender slipcover.
