This is a Custom made Cabinet with a MC-25 Masco chassis. The amp is driving out of 2 X 12 speakers.. 1 speaker is a vintage Oxford 2ND speaker Rola.. The amp sounds amazing. Has some serious power. Nice bass response and also breaks up really easy… I never even pushed past 3/4 volume…. There are 2 channels, the third channel i believe was for a phono but is not hooked… The 1 and second knobs are marked mic.. The 4th knob is power and treble… Sounds between a thunderbolt the the bass response of a twin… Overall this is a great amp.. The channel 1 had a bit static. But seemed to go away.. 2 ND channel ran strong and quiet.. The amp weighs 53 LBS…. CA, NV, WA, FL, TX. Up for sale, a 2015 Vintage 47 VA-185G Classic Series 1×12 combo tube amp in near mint condition and in perfect working order. The EH-185 was made famous in the late 1930s and early’40s by guitar greats such as Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian, and the amp delivers a distinctive low gain harmonic-rich overdrive with the complex midrange character of an octal valve-driven preamp. In addition to nailing the sonics of the original, the Vintage 47 rounds out the period-correct aesthetics with a lacquered tweed-covered cabinet bisected by a red racing stripe, central rear-mounted chassis with Gibson-style graphics, chicken head knobs, and a leather handle. The VA-185G is simplicity at its finest, and the point-to-point wired circuit boasts individual Volume and Tone controls for the single channel design, with dual 1/4 Instrument jacks and a lower gain 1/4 Mic input. The tube compliment includes a pair of JJ 6L6 power tubes in a Class AB push pull configuration for 15 sweet, all-tube watts. The power tubes are cathode biased (no biasing required), and a GZ34 rectifier, 6SN7 inverter, and a NOS metal jacketed 6SQ7 round out the tube compliment. The speaker is the original Tone Tubby alnico magnet 12 driver, with a clean black frame and V47 foil sticker on the magnet. Cosmetically, this combo tube amp is in near mint condition. The finger-jointed baltic birch cabinet is covered in lacquered tweed, which is clean as can be, and the silkscreening on the control panel is perfectly preserved with a pair of red chicken head knobs. Up for sale, a 1965 Univox Model 10 tube combo amplifier in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Incredibly rare with very little documentation available, this particularly early Japanese-made Univox combo comes with a stock Jensen C12R speaker and a pair of 6AQ5 power tubes. Sonically, this amp has a rich, warm character that overdrives nicely with a churning response. Not overly bright at any setting, the amp works well with single coils in particular to provide a bit of extra cut and bite. The simple controls consist of a Volume knob, Tone knob, and a Speed control for the Tremolo effect, which can be engaged via footswitch. The circuit has been thoroughly serviced and recapped as needed, and the original transformers and pots are intact. The tube compliment consists of two 12AX7s in the preamp, a pair of 6AQ5 power tubes, and a 6X4 rectifier. The ostensibly original Jensen C12R has a speaker has a clean black frame, small foil sticker on the ceramic magnet, and date code from the 13th week of 1965. Cosmetically, this amp is in good shape, with original two-tone gray and cream covering, gold sparkle grillcloth, leather handle, and Univox badge on the front. The clean control panel contains clean silkscreen graphics and a trio of stock barrel knobs. There is modest wear on the enclosure edges, yet overall this extremely rare Univox amp presents very well. VINTAGE 1970 AMPEG AC 12 AMPLIFIER, VERY RARE AMP ALL ORIGINAL & IT WORKS JUST FINE!! This is an original Ampeg AC 12 amp with the exception of a anti feedback factory patch this is the same amp as a GU 12 amp, for those who doubt that do a little research before running to the Man!!! Tubes have been tested and are working well. I do have the footswitch and the original hangtag stuff, all cool to have. Shows less than normal wear for a 40 + year old amp. Up for sale is an amazing (and fairly rare) gem of an amp by Gibson….. Gibson is revered (and documented) as one of the top two guitar manufacturers in the world, but they are highly underrated as amp makers. This exquisite piece of work is reportedly Gibson’s take on the legendary Fender Deluxe Reverb. Personally, I have to concede that they did an admirably great job with it! For considerably less than the price of most FDR’s from the 60′s, you get that nice, round, glassy Fender clean. And the prodigious tube complement along with the ENORMOUS transformer really gives this amp a pleasingly warm and huge sound, especially when you turn it up! However, unlike the Deluxe reverb, this amp does not overdrive a bunch when you max its volume out. It stays fairly clean, with a nice, jangly, musical break up. Makes it a great pedal platform, either turned up all the way, or still kept clean. It has an excellent sounding onboard tremolo (which is turned on and off with the included 2-button footswitch) with a very responsive speed control. As long as you turn up the depth knob to about halfway up (noon), you can get a wide array of modulating trem sounds when you set the speed to taste. You can keep the depth below halfway, but the effect will be very faint and subtle, no matter where you put the speed. I just see this as even more variety and sonic options! The sounds of the reverb on this unit are of top notch quality. A large range, so you can go from subtle to all out surf and/or ambient music mayhem! For some reason, though, the footswitch does not turn the effect on and off. But it does have a control knob on the control chassis, so you can turn it off as well as set it manually when you need to. A majority of the tubes are not very old. However, it makes some weird sound artifacts from time to time, especially when it is just sitting idle. I wish they built this amp with a standby switch, but I guess you can always turn the amp off when not in use. As with all of these older tube amps, it will eventually need a cap job or at least a few replaced. If you want it to really sound and perform exactly how you want it to, expect to bring it to your favorite amplifier tech for servicing at some point. We have already cleaned all of the input jacks, tube sockets, contact points and pots as best as we can. All of these said components seem to be very quiet. No NEED to change the speaker, though…. Only if you WANT. It’s got a solid Eminence Legend 12 that sounds just really big! No need to worry about a crackling, dying stock speaker that is about 1/2 a century old! This is pretty hard to find old bird. And this girl is trying to find its one in a million home. Will it be yours? From rockstargear4u, this Fender Super Reverb in very good condition! Awesome vintage two-channel, 4×10 combo amp with Eminence 50-watt speakers, tilt-back legs, and removable wheels. There are several tears to the tolex along the edges of the amp. It appears the previous owner used a Sharpie to darken the exposed wood see close-up for example. Also, there is a small hole and a few snags on the grill cloth (see close-up of hole). There are two previously drilled two holes in the rear chassis panel, but no sign of any modification. Otherwise just light marks here and there from normal use. Still looks fantastic and sounds amazing. All the vintage Fender tone you’d expect. Gibson EH-100 19401941 Vintage Tube Pre-War Amplifier Amp Combo 80y. Not perfect, check out the pics. They show it all. From the birth of amplified guitar. I think the condition is remarkable considering it’s age. This amp is a surviving piece of electric guitar history. Tube layout in pic. Last variation of the EH-100 before the war. This model cabinet has a separate amp and 10 field coil speaker box [latches together on the sides]. Dimension is 15″x12″x8 when stacked. Speaker box can be rotated around and latched to the amp base for controls on the front or even moved a foot or so away. This example has retained it’s original brown fabric covering and original handle. Gibson logo is very nice. Note pictures for condition. A few nicks and such in cabinet covering and amp chassis. This amp has 2 instrument inputs and one mic input. The volume knob controls the mic input only. The mic input has more gain and is preferred for guitar, eh? Gives guitar some attack and growl. This mic input sound is very desirable on the vintage tube amps of this era. Has been tuned up 10 years ago and up-dated with 3-prong plug for safety. Has been in storage more or less since then. Recommend having it checked by amp tech before using. Tubes are finicky compared to solid state. But the tone of vintage pre-war tube amps is unique. It’s 80 years old. Let me say this again, it’s 80 years old. When you judge it’s condition, please remember that. This amp was always cared for and shows no abuse. Never left in a wet garage or basement. It is ready to play or be displayed in a collection or museum. To be honest, I don’t know really what the market value of this amp is. I have looked at other images of this amp on Google, and this one, is by far the best looking. You be the judge. If I’ve put too high a price on it, let me know and give me your best offer.
