Fender Super Champ 1982 1983 Rivera Era Hand-wired 1X10 Tube Combo Amp Vintage. Fender Super Champ from 1982/83 Vintage USA made guitar amp. Works and sounds great. She doesn’t look beautiful but she sounds beautiful! Cosmetically in OK condition… There is rust on most metal accent areas of the amp, the amp front cover has discoloration and bits of damage, the power cord is beat, the volume knob was cracked in half (see photos for condition). The rust can be removed and everything else can be restored if the new owner chooses. It is what it is, still a rare and amazing sounding amp. This amp is one of the nicer ones I have owned, very minor damage to corners like they typically get, back plate is not missing, tremolo works great and overall has a really cool dark tone. This Guitar Amplifier is Tweed de-luxe style amplifier (clone) with the famous 5e3 hand wired circuit. Handbuilt by myself, I have been building Amplifiers of all types since about 1968. Please note that the name Tweed Deluxe 5E3 is a Fender product, this is similar, designed to recreate the classic sound and feedback potential of the late’50s. Great pride is taken in the design of each amplifier and I take pride in using USA parts wherever possible. All wiring is hand done of course and the end result has been tested and tuned over a period of months to ensure reliability. All feeds to the tube heating elements are twisted and tucked into the corners of the chassis. All other wiring is carefully placed and shielded as well to avoid noises. End result is a beautiful tone, whether you want mellow or crank it up and play some Jimi Hendrix, have at it. It breaks up nicely when driven, great distortion and feedback if desired. This is a LOUD Amp. By the way, I saw Jimi in Chicago in August of 1967, blew my mind and I have been playing with amps ever since.
