Vintage Rogers HG88 Mk2 Valve Amplifier. Refurbished inside including cabinet this is what they looked like back in the day. Fully working gives nice warm sound as you would expect from a vintage amplifier. In one of the photos you will see all the components I changed to get it working. I have disconnected all of the 3 double bias capacitors because they are toast I have marked them with black tape but left them in place to preserve the amps originality. Replacement bias capacitors are fitted underneath all 6 can be seen in the photos marked with a white arrow. The replacements I used are rubicon black gate (100uf at 50v) more than capable of doing the job. Because the previous owner had been using this amplifier with worn bias capacitors it has reduced the life output valves (ecl86)they could do with replacing in the near future. I will include speaker cable of studio grade 2 x 3 metres (1.5mm) in the sale. Any overseas buyers must contact me first.. Vintage 1980 tube amp head by Marshall. Vintage and rare amp head with original cord, overall has some knicks and scratches. Fires up and seems to work, but I’m not an expert. 1954 Fender Deluxe Tube Combo Amp 5C3 Vintage Good. Serial # indicates 1954 manufacture. Has original blue Jensen speaker, manufactured in 1954. I replaced the handle at some point. New leather handle in excellent condition. Re-Covered before I bought it. Cover and grill has some staining. I replaced two out of the three power tubes in the’80′s. Amp is very reliable, never needed a repair. Amp crackles at times on”idle” but this doesn’t effect the fantastic sound quality. Please ask questions, and thanks for looking. It’s in very good condition for its’ age, and it works well. The sound is amazing… It’s why these amps are sought after. Everything appears to be original, except the power cord.
