Up for sale is a matching pair of McIntosh MC60 Tube Amps. The amps are in great overall cosmetic condition for the age. They were both professionally restored recently and sound phenomenal in my setup. I have been personally enjoying them for the past few years and love the warm sound they produce. Unfortunately, I have up-sized my speakers and these amps are just not powerful enough to drive them. It is truly sad to see them go. Both amps have been upgraded with high-quality matched Tung-Sol tubes that are included. Please see the detailed photos of both units and feel free to ask any questions. I have described them to the best of knowledge and my ability.

The amp is in great condition! All of the tubes look like they should and the metal is pretty clean with only some light pitting on it. See pictures for more and feel free to ask any questions! I’ve also included an invoice from an authorized McIntosh repair shop and the man who worked on it had worked for Mcintosh for 30+ years and knew them very well. The repair was minor and the goal was to have it work for another 40 years. The customer stated fault at the bottom of the document is misleading. There aren’t any problems at all with the power supply. This comment was made to the repair guy because that’s what my co-worker said happened to it. My diagnosis was unfounded and a guess. It ran like a champ when I used it! Also, the owner’s manual included isn’t the original but rather a copy of it that I have used.
Here’s a vintage McIntosh C4 preamplifier. 3x Mullard IEC by Tungsgram (Hungary) ECC83/12AX7s included. Tested and sounds great. No hum or any issues. Looks excellent with original wooden cab. Here we have a very clean McIntosh MC240! This was the first stereo amp introduced by McIntosh… This particular unit was boxed up in storage by previous owner for quite some time. I powered the amplifier up very slowly with a variac and it performs like a real champ! There is no hum from the amp and the sound quality is good, but the tubes have not been tested and a new set of quality matched tubes should make a marked improvement. Most of the tubes are Zenith, one is RCA, one with worn off markings. I believe this could be an early production model. I’ve provided the photos which should help date the unit. The circuitry appears to be all original. Please note chassis stamp number 133. Also rubber stamp numbers on inside chassis. Included is a photo of the backs of the potentiometers which should help date this amp. Switches and pots are all working well and sound clean. Chrome is in especially nice condition and silk screen lettering in in very good condition but a little wear on some letters. Also please note that the top left corner of the Right speaker terminal strip is broken and the screw has a larger head compared to the others and was probably swapped out at one time. Other McIntosh listings coming soon! C-22, MR71, C4s, C-8, C-108, MX110.
