Rare Vintage 1940s Johnson Junior Guitar Amplifier. Made by Johnson Sound Systems of Brandon Manitoba. Did I say Rare? I meant Super Rare. I know of only a handful of amplifiers existing from Johnsons in Brandon, of any model. And only 1 Junior. And this Junior is in “like new” original condition. Cosmetically excellent, and is working nice and clean. All parts and components are original. A rare chance to own a rare Amplifier from an iconic Canadian music/guitar shop from the past. Up for sale here is this neat little vintage tube amplifier. This is a neat little series-string tube amp, with two 50C5 output tubes and a 12AU7 driver tube. Tubes are included but are untested and may need replacing. This appears to be a little push-pull mono amp, and could be made into a sweet little guitar amp, though you should add an isolation transformer. This has three controls and has the original knobs on it, which are in great shape. Cosmetic condition is great, with just light wear. Please see my pictures for details. Rare 1940s Silvertone Sears Roebuck & Company 1300 Guitar Tube Amplifier Working. This item has some cosmetic flaws as you can see in the photos. The potentiometers may need to be cleaned out a little better to get rid of the static and pops in the sound. The tubes all do light up and seem to be pretty strong?? Up for sale here is this neat vintage tube amplifier. This came from an RCA MI-15910 tube reel-to-reel player from 1953. The power transformer is included, but was previously mounted separately, and it attaches to the amp with an octal plug. This has two potentiometers, a neon light, two 1/4 jacks, and a socket in the side for an AC cord (not included). It normally uses a 6X4 rectifier, a 12AX7, a 6AQ5 output tube, and a 5879 tube, but only the 5879 tube is included. That one has a metal cover over it, and I’m not sure if the cover is original. This is a neat little tube amp and you could build an amazing guitar amp with it. This is in good physical condition with light to moderate overall wear. It measures about 12.75″ long, 4″ deep, and 2.25 tall. The last picture shows the tube layout, but the paper tube layout is not included, sorry. It will be an amazing guitar amp once it’s done.
