Vintage McIntosh MI-200 A-109 K-107 Mono Monoblock Tube Amplifier Power Supply. Here is a Beautiful Vintage Original McIntosh Industrial type K-107 Tube Amplifier Power Supply. This power supply is for use with the MI-200 / A-109. It comes with M-147C & M-148A transformers and 4- 5U4 and a solid state 5Y3 as shown. According to the previous owner, This came out of a Tektronix lab and was in operation until fairly recently. This was brought up slowly on a variac and tested with an amplifier and worked fairly well. Note that it will likely need a full tune-up. The AC cord should be replaced as well. They have strong testing GE 6550 tubes installed and they keep their bias after warmup. They are in good cosmetic condition and work perfectly. The external securing ring for the operate/set bias switch on one amplifier is missing, but the switch feels very secure. DULCI DPA-10 Monoblock vintage valve amplifier. Essentially the same the famous Mullard 5-10 but with a few slight changes on the first Gain stage. Tested and fully working – sounds great. At some point the original valve rectifier has been replaced with a solid state rectifier, and a fuse and new capacitor have been installed. Also the power take off has been disconnected. I have had these two Magnavox 138 mono-block amps for years. The output of each amp is 10 watts and the output impedance is 4 ohms. A few years ago, I refurbished the amps and painted the chassis. The amps are dead quiet and sound great. A preamp is highly recommended for volume and tone control. There are some scratches in the paint. Heres what I did when I refurbished the amp. I replaced the coupling caps with Mallory and Sprague capacitors. I replaced out of tolerance resistors. I added a grounded power cord, a 2 amp slo blo fuse, an on/off switch, an on/off lamp, three-way speaker connections for either bare wire, spade ends or banana plugs and rubber feet. The filter can capacitor is still original to the amp and is still dead quiet as mentioned. The chassis are slightly different model 138 amps. But both amps use the same tube configuration, one 5Y3GT, two 6V6GT power tubes and a 12AX7 preamp tube. One amp has a Hytron 5Y3GT, two RCA smoked black plate tubes and an Audio Research 12AX7. The other has a GE 5Y3GT, one RCA smoked black plate and one Sylvania smoked 6V6GT power tubes and an RCA 12AX7. All from the golden age of tubes from the mid-century era. All were made in the US except maybe the Audio Research 12AX7/ECC83. More in other locations. Here is a Beautiful Vintage Original McIntosh Industrial type MI-200 / A-109 / K-107 Mono Monoblock Tube Amplifier with Power Supply. Amplifier A-109 Part of K-107 Serial Number 554. It comes with M-149H & M-168 transformers and the following tubes 2- 8005, 2- 6BX7, 2- 6AU5, 12AX7 and 12AU7. The MI-200 power supply is D-106 part of K-107 Serial Number 579. It comes with M-147C & M-148A transformers and 4- 5U4 and a solid state 5Y3 as shown. These came out of a Tektronix lab and were in operation until fairly recently. I brought them up slowly on my variac and it passed audio fairly well. There is some minor hum and a little distortion at higher volumes so I’m sure they will need a full tune-up.
