They have strong testing GE 6550 tubes installed and they keep their bias after warmup. They are in good cosmetic condition and work perfectly. For sale is an excellent VT130 in great working condition. I had this unit serviced recently by a tech in the area. He tested it, replaced a few caps that were out of spec with the appropriate replacement, and made sure that it was ready use by running it for 10+ hours. He commented on how great it sounded. This amplifier has always been lightly used, turned on maybe once or twice a week for a few hours at max. There are really no cosmetic issues to be aware of other that a few light scratches you may find. This amplifier sat in the rack for its whole life. I make no guarantee on the condition of the tubes. The tech said they tested good and I did not inquire further. I will remove the tubes, wrap them in bubble wrap, but leave them under the cage. Included is the original manual. I know the amplifier works, so this is a final sale. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work and possibly be surprised when they do. However, there are times where I may miss something. Your consideration EAR 509 Yashino Mono Block Tube Amps By Esoteric Audio Research. Listing is for the pair. These are rare amps to find and not always listed in pairs. These pump out a whopping 100 WATTS of tube power per channel in to 4,8,16 Ohms. Previous owner had these modified by Randall Research in California. The Level Controls have been bypassed and Bias Terminals added to assist in Biasing. Input jacks have been relocated to the side. There are other component changes inside as seen in the pictures. These amps also have a nice wooden base added that is not original. These amps sound fantastic and really have outstanding tight bass for tubes. These are built like tanks, are extremely neutral and do not impose any of their own character on the music. So be warned they do not add the normal warm sound. Associated with tube amps. They are however extremely powerful and crystal clear producing an effortless sound with astounding base capability. The major innovation is. Tim de Paravicinis Bridge mode output stage, in which the. Plate, screen grid, and Cathode are assigned their own. Separate windings on a bifilar wound output transformer. The listing will include some spare Tubes for these amps. A few might be used and not in their original box but some appear new. These amps sound fantastic and I have used them with different speaker combinations with great results. I have also used Emerald Physics, JBL, Infinity and RBH speakers.
