Up for sale, a 1978 Fender Deluxe Reverb in pristine, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order. 100% original with an untouched circuit, stock Oxford speaker, and immaculate cosmetic appearance, this genuine vintage Deluxe Reverb even features a full compliment of original Raytheon preamp tubes, along with the original matched RCA 6V6 power tube pair and 5U4 rectifier. This amp excels at delivering sparkling, detailed cleans with great headroom, and the lush reverb accentuates the chiming, smooth treble response. Both channels sound distinct and strong, and turning things up past 5 on the Volume dial introduces glassy overdriven textures and a touch of compression. It’s everything you could want from a vintage Fender amp. The circuit is original and untouched, with original Schumacher transformers that date to 1978. The preamp retains all of the original blue molded signal caps, and the power supply caps are original as well. The CTS pots date back to mid’77, and the amp is the last vintage iteration of the Deluxe with a push/pull gain boost on the Vibrato Channel Volume control. The original CTS 12 speaker has a clean black frame, blue foil Fender label on the ceramic magnet, and the original speaker cone. The tube chart is intact on the inside of the cabinet as well. Cosmetically, this amp is exceedingly clean as the photos can attest, with original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with pale blue stripe. The faceplate positively gleams with its near mint turquoise text and full compliment of witch hat knobs. All of the stock hardware shines like new too, with minty handle caps, chassis straps, logo, and sphinx glides (feet). The original two-button footswitch is included. Up for sale, a 1966 Fender Pro Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original Jensen C12N speaker pair and two-button footswitch. Providing the general tonal character of a Twin Reverb, but boasting a tube rectifier and more manageable 40 watts of power, the Pro Reverb is a 2×12 amplifier with enough volume for large ensemble situations and the perfect balance between shimmering Blackface cleans and smooth, touch sensitive overdrive. A great platform for effects pedals too, the cleans on this Pro are balanced, clear, and warm. Of course once you reach around 5 on the volume dial, things start to compress slightly, and you get that dynamic, glassy sound that adds just the right amount of grit to your tone. The Reverb has plenty of depth and splash, and the Tremolo has a nice deep chop. Very original and well maintained, this Pro Reverb is ready for stage and studio use. The circuit is extremely original, with the original compliment of Schumacher transformers (Fender’s largest supplier of Blackface-era transformers), dating between late 1965 and the first weeks of’66. The stock CTS pots are all intact as well, dating to late’65, and the chassis stamp notes a 1966 build date. The preamp is untouched save for a few small electrolytic capacitors, and the amp retains all of the original blue molded Ajax tone caps which are a hallmark of the Blackface sound. The power supply has also been professionally recapped. A modern three-prong power cable has been installed, and the amp is loaded with mostly vintage valves including a pair of likely original RCA 6L6GC power tubes. The speakers are the original pair of Jensen C12NA 12 ceramic drivers, and the speakers date to the 30th week of’65 with original foil stickers on the magnets and clan black frames. The tube chart is also fully intact inside the cabinet with crisp corners and a PB stamp which translates to February of 1966. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth is intact and in great shape, showing only light wear and still looking surprisingly clean after half a century. The cloth has only faint aging, and the tolex shows only some minor scuffs and nicks on the edges of the enclosure. The stock hardware is in great shape including original tilt back legs, chassis straps, corners, sphinx glides (feet), and handle. The faceplate is extremely clean, with a full compliment of witch hat knobs. This Pro Reverb has vintage tubes, a very original circuit, and a desirable Jensen C12NA speaker pair, sounding every bit as good as a Blackface Fender should! Up for sale, a 1965 Fender Princeton Reverb in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original two-button footswitch. A clean and early Blackface example with a Fender Electrical Instrument Co. Faceplate and no-logo cabinet, the Princeton Reverb is the perfect amplifier for small club gigs and studio sessions, delivering both well-balanced, sparkling cleans and smooth, harmonic rich overdrive at higher volumes. The Reverb is extremely lush and the Tremolo has a nice pulse with a wide range of speeds. The chassis retains all of the original Schumacher-made transformers (Fender’s primary transformer supplier in the Blackface era), with date codes from the 2nd to 28th weeks of’65. Aside from a modern three-prong power cable and new bias capacitor, the circuit is virtually untouched, boasting all of the famed blue molded Ajax tone caps which are an essential part of the sweet and musical character of Fender’s Blackface preamps. The original CTS pots are all intact as well, with visible date codes from late 1964. The power tubes are a pair of matched Groove Tubes 6V6s, and the preamp tubes are all matched Groove Tubes valves as well. The faceplate is clean, with the Fender Electric Instrument Co. Text that would disappear mid-year with Fender’s CBS buyout. The knobs are mostly original as well, with two slightly newer knobs for the tremolo controls. The original Oxford 10J4 ceramic magnet speaker is intact, with a clean black frame, Fender blue foil sticker on the magnet, and date stamp on the frame from the 15th week of’65. The tube chart is completely intact and quite clean too, with a “OH” date stamp which translates to August of’65. As the photos show, the original black tolex has weathered the decades well, with only a few very minor nicks and scuffs and wear on the two front bottom corners. The amp has a brand new birch ply baffle, replacing the original MDF, and this new baffle has been fitted with genuine’60s Fender silver sparkle grillcloth. All of the original hardware is present including the chassis straps, handle caps, and sphinx glides. The original two-button footswitch is included. From rockstargear4u, this Fender Super Reverb in very good condition! Awesome vintage two-channel, 4×10 combo amp with Eminence 50-watt speakers, tilt-back legs, and removable wheels. There are several tears to the tolex along the edges of the amp. It appears the previous owner used a Sharpie to darken the exposed wood see close-up for example. Also, there is a small hole and a few snags on the grill cloth (see close-up of hole). There are two previously drilled two holes in the rear chassis panel, but no sign of any modification. Otherwise just light marks here and there from normal use. Still looks fantastic and sounds amazing. All the vintage Fender tone you’d expect. The Oliver company was started by Jess Oliver who was a VP at Ampeg that went out on his own after being instrumental in the B-15 Portaflex amp design. For sale, this stunning 1978 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb 2×12 guitar amplifier combo serial number A812200 in unbelievable condition. It has just been completely refurbished by the vintage Fender experts at Pittsburgh Amplification, including new Tolex covering, grill cloth and cabinet hardware. The original hardware is included in the sale along with the original footswitch. This extremely beautiful amplifier sounds just as good as it looks. 135 ultralinear all tube watts from four 6L6 power tubes into two 12 Italian Jensen C12Ns, the epitome of loud clean. Two channels, Normal and Vibrato, each with Fender’s infamous three band EQ stack and bright switch.
