THIS COMES AS PICTURED AND UNTESTED. I BELIEVE IT IS A 2-CHANNEL POWER SUPPLY BUT THE PARTS IN IT ARE VERY NICE AND COULD BE USED IN AN AMPLIFIER BUILD.

Line isolated, “Universal” A-B-C Battery Eliminator / Power Supply for powering most vintage battery operated or farm tube radios. Selectable “A” (filament) Supply: “A6″ (6.0 -6.5V) or “Ax” (1.25-5.0V)- 2.5 Amp. “B” (plate) Supplies: +135V- 80mA, 90V – 60mA, 67.5V – 40mA, 45/22.5V – 5mA. “C” (grid) Supplies: -4.5/-9/ 22.5V – 2mA (“C” voltages easily user modified). “B” supply capability can be increased 20mA by reducing “A” current from 2.5A and/or by reducing ambient temperature to 25oC (from 35oC). “B” isolated from “A” and “C” supplies. Two LED indicators: one indicates power supply is ON, the other indicates radio is also ON and drawing plate current. For use as a universal bench supply OR to provide a permanent power source for battery powered tube radios. Small size (6.5 x 4 x 2.75) and light weight 28 oz. AC in: 85 – 265V, 50/60 Hz (USA plug type A). Operating temperature 0-35 deg C. Thermal overload and short circuit protected. Quiet (no fan, buzz or 60 cycle hum). Uses AC line and DC output common mode EMI filters. Includes User Manual and nine conductor cable for neat connection to radio (see photo). 3 Amp “A”, 100mA “B”, up to 270V “B” (using series connected eliminators) and/ or other A 1.25 – 10V adj. Serial number will differ from that shown in photos. Search separate listing under “Battery Consolidator / Voltage Converter” for item allowing mobile operation (single battery required) or as a battery eliminator (using available linear AC/DC converter) for many vintage tube radios.

Vintage 1950s AMPEX type 6450 DUAL HIGH VOLTAGE SUPPLY Ampex Tube Preamplifiers, removed from old obsolete rack cabinets during interior demolition work of Movies Screening Room in former 1950′s TV Station building on Manhattan’s West Side. Super heavy: 28 Lbs. Condition: used, transformers seems are working. It has Not Been Tested with radio tubes (we don’t have original tubes), quite old, tons of dirt. Removed from some sort of amplification farm cabinets. Original screws and vacuum bulbs had been missing during demolition. Pilot light is not working. No original tubes Included!!
