Vtg Roberts 1630 Stereo Tube Amp Reel-to-Reel Tape Player Recorder Rheem READ. This is such a cool vintage reel-to-reel tape player. Please read below for details on the condition. There is some general wear on the case and on the player. Please review the pictures for a full view of the cosmetic condition. There are 2 missing bumpers on the bottom of the case. It has been tested to power on. The different elements move and spin. We are not expert enough to know the exact working condition beyond that. Please watch the video (in with the pictures) of it turned on and functioning. We cannot guarantee full working condition.

Offered is the WEBCOR Tube Amplifier from an old Tape Player/Recorder from the 1950′s or early 1960′s. The amp is clean and in good condition. Variac-Tested, all the tubes light up. Electronics appear original, clean and in good condition. The output transformer appears to be a replacement by Magnetic Windings, INC, it only has one mounting screw. Tube lineup: 12AD7, 12AU7, 6X5GT and (2) 6V6GT. The chassis is stamped with 12AD7 and 12AU7 in ink, embossed into the chassis are the following: 12AX7, 12AX7, 6X6GT, 6V6GT and 6V6GT. Also included is the original Green Tuning Eye tube still wired to its socket. Two controls also remain tethered to the chassis by their wires for power, tone and volume. 15 X 11 X 5 inches in overall size. About 13 pounds packed up. This is a vintage Reel To Reel Ampex 350 C Magnetic Tape Recorder. It is in pretty good condition physically, but I have not tested it, and the outside of the box has some scratches.

Item for sale is a vintage AKAI 1710W 4-track reel-to-reel tape player/recorder with wood case. Unit has a built in amplifier and speakers for stand-alone use, and has outputs for use with a component system. Comes with a detachable front cover. Item has been tested and is still in good working order. This unit has vacuum tubes, so it needs to warm up a minute before it will begin playing. Has not been serviced so should probably be lubed. Case has some nicks (visible in pictures) in it and the from metal plate has some brownish stains mainly around the reels and capstan areas. NOTE: Reels not included.
