RARE, ORIGINAL, WORKS GREAT! High Quality, American Made, Point-to-point wiring. This is a VINTAGE 1976 SANO SUPER NOVA STEREO TUBE AMPLIFIER. Designed to be used for guitar and I suppose accordion. It is complete and functions properly. Controls and inputs have been cleaned, no scratchy pots. Everything works as it should. The cabinet covering shows light wear. The grill cloth is in great shape. This is a solid, road worthy beast; weighs 65 lbs.. Each channel has volume, treble and bass controls. The stereo channel has a second input stage with treble volume and bass volume controls. There are push buttons to engage the reverb and tremolo for each/either/both channels. Made in the U. I honestly believe I was the first person to ever open the back of this amplifier. Nothing has been touched for 44 years. Original transformers, speakers, pots, electrical components, tubes, etc. From what I can tell the amp is completely original with the exception of one of the knobs. Power amp tube lineup… 2-GE 12AU7, Westinghouse 5U4GB rectifier, 2-GE 8417 power tubes. The preamp tubes are also all original… One United Electron 6FQ7 and the balance are USA General electric 9 pins (2-12AX7′s and 2-12AU7′s or 12AT7′s). This has the original 2 prong cord. The side of the fuse holder is damaged and you should consider replacing it if/when you decide to upgrade to a grounded power cord. The speakers are original to the amplifier. Square magnet, Eminence made, 67-7548 codes, so made the 48th week of 1975. Look like they could easily handle 50 watts a piece. This is definitely a clean amp. And I’m saying clean all the way up the volume dial. The 8417 power tubes are designed for high fidelity and that is exactly what you get. Full bass, rich midrange and crystal clear highs. Serious Jazz, acoustic electric and classic country players will love this amp. I would guess it puts out 50-60 watts. Rock and rollers should also consider this amp. This would make a great foundation for pedals if you want your sound to remain constant at all volumes. The tremolo and reverb are very well designed and rival that of the best Fender, Traynor or Ampeg from the same era. That is a bargain. This item is heavy and will require extra time and care to package. I never use UPS. Old electronics are scratched, worn, chipped, cracked, dirty, dusty, stained, ugly, tinkered with, missing parts, etc. The exteriors have wear that includes cuts, holes, tears, scuffs, missing stitching, missing or replaced feet and knobs. In the course of servicing over the years, they typically do not have all original components. Old electronics typically hum and have scratchy controls. As a basic test I have operated this amp for at least 4 hour recently and it did not fail, smoke, blow fuses, etc. Typically easy and inexpensive to maintain, you should be aware, old electronic require maintenance. Old electronic can fail at any time. We will work through the claim together until things are right. Vintage 1968/1969 Traynor Ysr-1 Custom Reverb Tube Amp El34 8 Ohm Tremolo 12ax7

For sale is a 1968/69 Traynor YSR-1. This amp is from the late 60′s. Its transformers look to be from 1968, but there is no database to decipher Traynor serial numbers(most info appears to be about YBA-1 amps which have a different system of serial numbers). Its serial number is S71306, so those that know more about Traynor history can weigh in. This YSR-1 has a choke which means it’s from the pre 1970 changeover to amps that no longer use a choke & have a totally different cabinet. The late 60′s version of the YSR-1 has the dual indicator jewel lights that go from red for Standby to green for Operate(on). The amp is missing the original Traynor faceplate, otherwise it’s in very good cosmetic condition. The earlier Traynor logo often broke, so many of 65-70 Traynor amps no longer have them. Some people often compare the YSR-1 to the more well known Traynor YBA-1, but they behave totally different in real world usage. For sure the tone stack isn’t quite the same. While the YBA-1 is based on a Bassman 5F6A, the YSR-1 seems closer to a 6G/”Brownface” type amp. The preamp of the YSR-1 has greater top end clarity with a bit less overdrive than the Traynor YBA-1. As a result, the YSR-1 is a great amp to use as a pedal platform. I own both YBA-1 & YSR-1 amps and prefer the YSR-1 a bit more to the YBA-1. The Traynor YSR-1 features 6 12AX7 preamp tubes with a pair of EL34 power tubes. The amp has an 8 ohm output with a power spec of 45-50 watts RMS. The amp features an Ampeg like reverb mixed with a Vox type pulsing tremolo. The amp has a burly & robust tone that ranges from an excellent clean sound at lower volumes to a biting overdrive when it’s pushed hard. This amp has been modded to have a master volume. The first two volume controls function as a pre-amp gain & master volume respectively rather than separate volume controls for Input 1 & 2. I thought about taking it back to stock, but this master volume mod makes the amp far more versatile. The amp can be set to have a bit more preamp gain that gives more shades of overdrive at lower volumes that many clubs ask bands to play at. Like an older Marshall, the two YSR-1 channels can be jumped to give the amp a fuller sound. In this instance t. He normal(1) & bright(2) inputs are jumped to give both signals at the preamp gain pot. Jumper cable will be included. I had the amp checked out by a tech a couple of months ago and it passed all tests. The circuit board still has many of the Philips “Mustard Caps” that are similar to the Mullard variants that were used in early Marshall amps. I have played the amp a bunch for the past couple of months and really do like this amp. I own 2 dozen amps, so something has to give. I used this amp either with a mid 60′s Fender Bandmaster 2×12 with late 70′s Celestion G12-80 or a Marshall 4×10 cab with late 70′s Celestion G10-50. Both cabinets work great with the amp, but I really love this amp driving the 4×10 best. No speaker cabinet will be supplied. Please ask all questions 12 hours before the listing’s close so they can be answered properly. Thanks for reading the whole description. Vintage 1960/61 Supro 1620T. Amplifier is in great shape and has been serviced only by Michael Clark of Clark Amplification. He also updated the power cord to a three way high quality cord. The badge is a reproduction. Preamp tubes are Phillips USA vintage tubes. Tremendous tremolo, but missing the footswitch unfortunately. Original speaker still is strong and has that classic tone. Has the classic Zeppelin 1 and 2 tones with a boost on the front end. Also to note that this very amp was used by Marcus King on almost every single track of the self titled Marcus King Band Album. It was used in conjunction with a Super Reverb and vintage Marshall to blend varied amounts of each depending on the track. This was Warren Haynes idea to do this with this amp and it worked great. The track Devils Land on the album really showcases this particular amps tone. Vintage early 60s supro amplifier model 1666 TA Trojan amplifier with tremolo. This amplifier was a garage find. When plugged in the amplifier turns on and functions properly. All switches and knobs work properly the tremolo also works properly. The knobs and pots are scratchy when you turn them. I believeThe light bulb is burnt-out For the on-off switch. I did some research on this amplifier I believe it is from 1962. The condition on the outside is very rough with a lot of pitting on the metal. As you can see from the photos it is in very good shape on the inside. Looks to be all original. The back of the amplifier still contains the original extra fuse. I plugged my fender Stratocaster into this amplifier and was really shocked at how great the amplifier sounds all the knobs function properly. The tremolo also functions properly. It will be packed with care. The item “Vintage 1960′s Supro 1616TA Trojan tremolo amplifier amp tube” is in sale since Thursday, June 25, 2020. Up for sale, a 1972 Marshall JMP Tremolo 50 model 1987T in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with footswitch. One of the last point-to-point turret board 50 watt Marshalls in the small head box, this Tremolo 50 is outfitted with a matched pair of EL34 power tubes and delivers rich, textured British drive as only a Marshall can. There’s plenty of clean bite and headroom before pushing into sizzling overdrive, and the Tremolo 50 makes good on the promise of its model name with an additional 12AX7 preamp tube not found on your run-of-the-mill 50 watt, with Speed and Intensity controls to govern the chop and throb of the tremolo circuit. The circuit is very original and thoroughly serviced, with a bevy of vintage mustard tone caps in the preamp on the turret board, one of the last before Marshall switched to PCBs in’73. The original Drake transformers are intact, and the preamp and power supply has been recapped as needed to ensure optimal performance. The inspection tag on the chassis is dated 21-4-72. Both the original metal faceplate and back plate are intact, with all original knobs present and the tell-tale Polarity switch on the faceplate seen on Marshalls imported to the USA. This feature was phased out in the mid-70s and this switch is no longer active, given the modern three-prong power cable. The faceplate graphics are clean, and the head retains its original raised small Marshall badge and gold piping. The original handle is present too and the stock black tolex shows only light wear from the past nearly 50 years. A vintage metal wedge footswitch of the appropriate size and shape is included to engage the tremolo, fitted with a modern cable which has the correct four-pin input. Volume, tone, tremolo speed with pedal, guitar & aux inputs, everything works. The cabinet looks good with standard wear, no tears in the grillcloth. The front wood has standard wear, wood chips and a little fraying of the cloth on the bottom. The univox name has long been missing but my expert vintage amp repair man identified it. Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo 1961 Vintage Tube Amp Guitar Amplifier withJensen

Super 60′s sounding. A tech recently went through it, and replaced all the caps. It’s all original, along with the original 1961 Jensen speaker in it. Some of the tubes may not be original though, due to age. It also has the original built in foot switch. The power cable looks to be original. The tremolo is working well. The only issue that I know of, is that you go to use the foot switch to turn the tremolo off, the tremolo doesn’t go all the way off, it just lowers the tremolo effect. So you have to turn the depth knob all the way off if you don’t want the tremolo effect. Showing it’s age. Control panel has rust, wear on corners, and a few cigarette burns. But hey, that’s rock’n’roll! It’s working great. The item “Gibson GA-8T Discoverer Tremolo 1961 Vintage Tube Amp Guitar Amplifier withJensen” is in sale since Thursday, November 7, 2019. Another Krazy item from Slappys Vintage. Made by Magnatone, same as the model 260. 2×12 Tube Combo amp. Please see all pictures – Very rare amp – Dont Miss out. Probably stopped making the model because Gibson also had a Super 600 as a model. In good original found shape. I had my tech go through it and clean up the electronics, Put a new power cord on it. Put a few tubes on it, replaced a cap and some resisters on the in side. Terms and Condition: PLEASE READ. Most all items we sell are USED, I find them mostly at Swap Meets, Estate Sales, music stores and second Hand stores. I try to describe them to the best of my abilities. Some obscure items I may not have much knowledge about. Please note that it is a USED item and may have other issues that are not described. Thank you for being interested in out items. Pickups are welcome on all items won locally. The item “1961 Noble Super 600 / Magnatone 260, Vintage Tube Amp 2×12 with Tremolo” is in sale since Thursday, November 14, 2019.
